I married him and became Mrs Garnham.

FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothings come back Receptionist said "if its not in by 2moro afternoon we'll chase it up" i replied "thats what someone said to me on friday about today - please can you chase it up now for me im really worried" Shes like "yeah ill have a word with the nurse for u"
"ok if u can do that that'd be great!!"
and if the nurse dont do owt im in a 440 so ill push for them myself!

In my experience if there was something wrong the hospital would send your results back urgently. I know it won't help but try and remember the saying no news is good news. Honestly hun, go down there early and stand over them till its done, sometimes its the only way to get things done, people just don't think about how other people are feeling when there waiting for results.

Im trying just with me still bleeding (11th day now) im convinced something has to be wrong! I will cry if i have to do the test again cos theyve lost the info or something!!! :( My mums pickin me up in 30mins so im going to go then :) I hope to god theyre there!!!xx

if it makes you feel better, my nan says that the longer they make you wait, the less chance that there is something wrong. They normally contact you urgently when there is something up and just leave it for days when theres nothing to worry about x

my doctors don't even bother contacting you if there's nothing wrong with test results. they only call if you need to go in and see a dr again. strange system i think! x

Big hugs Nicola. I can't believe they could be so laid back about something so important to you , especially if you are still in pain. Try to distract yourself though or you'll go crazy and DO NOT googled your symptoms, it will only tell you something silly and make you worry more. I had a something wrong with my eyesight (flashing light) recently and goolged the symptoms and it came up saying it could be a detached retina and I could go blind. Turns out it was a migrane lol.
You'll probably receive one of those GP patient surveys soon and then you can get them back wohahaha

HI LADIES NIC CAN NOT GET IN AT THE MINUTE SO SHE HAS ASKED ME TO SEND YOU THIS MESSAGE....
"Went to the docs last night and got back my blood results which had been sent off on friday - they're all fine.... but still no sign of the swab results.... id called the receptionist in the docs at 230 and she said she wud ask the nurse to call up and chase the results..... she passed that msg on 5 mins before i had my appointment at 440! i was livid considering the department closed at 4pm!
So still no results.....
She is concerned that im still bleeding but until they get the results *she promised she'd chase them first thing today* they can only assume its hormonal!!!!!! so shes gave me another type of pill and said she'd ring me today...... im still waiting! xxx

i think my patience is actually gettin me nowhere!!!!!!! said ill give them till 2pm then i sed "im sorry but if there not back by then i will need to speak to someone higher than u cos its an actual joke now! ive spent a week assuming the worst and its stressing me out - incase u want to check ur notes i now see a counsellor cos of stress so this isnt helping me AT ALL" she was like "oh right..... ok..... well il pass msg on now" x

yeah at least the amount of blood ive been loosing hadnt caused me to be anemic or sumthing! just the swabs now! honestly if its bad news im going to absolutely throttle them! x
