Tomorrow I have a meeting with a potential florist, she is the mother of a friend I work with. She's a older lady who does it from home and apparently gives the money to a local hospice, she gets all her flowers from a wholesaler.
So I don't really have a particular theme in my mind, I'm nt too great with flowers, I know I would like a waterfall bouquet, and the bridesmaids to have a simple bunch like3 big heads flowers. I would like a flower garland on he top table, the. Big headed rowers to place in jam jars which I have been collecting up. Other then that I'm a bit clueless,is this normal?
I rang the church earlier as I was told I would need to check with the lady who does there flowers for permission for a outside florist, she said she was ok with it. So out of curiousity I asked how much she would charge for pedestals, she said £25 per pedestal buses would need to supply the florists/greenery ourselves. I don't know if that would workout cheaper or cost the same for someone todo it,also is it easier to just leave it for someone else to do? I've been looking online for prices of tgs, no one seems to be much more expensive then each other.
So I'm wondering what everyone else budgeted for there flowers, ill need my bouquet, I have 3 bridesmaids, and need button holes, for best men x2, x2 ushers, my parents, his parents, is that who we supply for, or do they get there own, I'm confused?!?!
Please help!

The only help I can be is knowing that you do usually supply for those people.. Though we're only supplying men, not my mum with a button hole... I don't know if she'd like one :-/ I didn't think women had them tbh haha..
Sorry, I'm clueless on flowers too.. My mums going to talk to our next door neighbour nearer the time as she owns her own flourist.. Mum has the pics of the bouquet and posy I want for me and MOH and knows the type of thing I want for button holes so she's taking the flowers over for me.. xxx
I can't wait to become his Wife :-)

Hey chick! Just an idea of prices to expect as mine were very much average. My bouquet is £110, bridesmaids are £35 each, button holes £5.50, top table peice £85 and centrepeices £15 each. The pedestals were £60 each so we opted to hire bay trees decorated with fresh flowers which are only £15 each instead! And corsagses for mums/grans are £8. Hope this helps! It will obviously depend what kind of flowers etc you are going for xx
