My friend is taking me to see Sam smith as a hen day. I'm so excited we will be having a night away as its in Glasgow and its in March so not long to wait,

I've been on my low cal diet for 2 weeks now and lost 6kg so now I've dragged the exercise bike out so It may help and I get to watch my soaps while doing it. I don't want to lose to much just look better for engsgment pics and wedding day. I've also been testing my make up products as I'm doing my own make up. Glad I did as the moisturiser brought me out in a rash.
I've been decorating up large jars for church candle as I wanted a candle lit aisle but just noticed the aisle prob won't be wide enough so back to the drawing board as to where my jars can now go.

    I love Sam smith!

I orderd part of my favours today and made an additional donation to the QE Birmingham. Now just need to get some bits to go with it x

I'd love to do that for my hen, I wanted Ed Sheeran tickets for his tour in july but couldn't afford them what with paying for the wedding, it didn't even cross my mind that I could have done that for my hen.

Woohoo my hen is going to be 8th JUly and its a dancing through the decades tribute night with dinner for £30, Ive sent out 50 invites but know not everyone will go as some of our friends/family live miles away and its costing a fortune for the wedding so undersatnd they cant do the hen the month before too but im hoping about 20 people go.

I just got the email from the hotel this morning telling us the dates hoping to book it next week sometime :)

Appy I will be seeing my florist once more before the wedding, she said to arrange a date 1-2 months prior to the wedding. I imagine it's just to confirm you still want the same thing & to freshen her memory of exactly what you want.

I think I'm finally happy with my DIY invitations, I'm going to ask H2B's mum's opinion (she's very honest) on them this weekend & if she approves I will be printing them all off :)
Here they are, with info blanked out.....................What do you think?

    Sprucey your shoes are gorgeous.

I'm struggling with shoes tbh can't find anything that I love unless they are £200+ and I'm not prepared to pay that, was hoping for about £50 but think I might be kidding myself on lol. Why is it the little things that bug us the most.

we need a minimum of 70 for our venue but we currently have 91 (Including 5 children but SIL say 3 nephews aren't going) and we know a few other wont go either we don't know if we will bump up eveing guests or just go with what we have during the day umless it falls below the 70 we will bump up the evening guests (If that makes sense)

I think I'd have him for the time between the meal and for when evening guests first start arriving. We have live music during the meal and a band for the evening, so don't want too much going on then. But think it will be nice to have him going around during that in between time. That way some of the evening guests will get to see him too.

He will do close up magic

Oh I'm in the same boat, 40 is our day guests number and there's an issue with a few I doubt they're going to want to travel so I'm guessing they might be a no, im starting to worry that'll seem really empty and that there won't be much of a 'party' atmosphere later with such little people!
Lovely invites Mrs robson2be can't believe you've made them yourself! They look v professional!
Elizabeth I gave up with shoes as I liked the flat sparkly Jimmy choos too much an nothing compared! So these plain rainbow ones were £16 on the bay and then the lovely lady at lacedinvintage tiaras on the bay made these clips for my shoes I sent her a pic of my shoes an my dress an asked her to make something to fit in!

I got my shoes ages ago, long before I even got my dress. My colour scheme is mint green (although its now a darker shade then I originally wanted) so i bought mint green shoes. I took them around my MIL2B's house & she was like "Oh your not wearing bridal shoes" so now I'm not sure, especially since there not the exact colour of my colour scheme.
So I've come to the decision that if I see any that I love at a reasonable price, I will buy new ones. The only ones I love are the Arun@ s3th butterfly shoes but at £600 that's not going to happen :(

We've got 96 people invited for the whole day (no extra planned for the evening) & going by word of mouth they are all coming, I'm not looking forward to all of those people staring at me as I walk down the aisle.

I've not got the stuff out yet but know I have it given we've got both oh a new passport and his mothers bloody birth certificate since I last spoke to them to book in with the registrars! What a faff! Also has anyone had it pointed out to them by the registrar that your venue licence will expire before your date? Ie you have to hope they renew it?! I mean I'm sure it's pretty stupid they would lose out on a lot of money if they no longer did weddings! But wondered if I should mention to our coordinator like if thrg realise it's up in July?! I've got 40 day guests and have a feeling my school friend won't make it up. She's been making to much of an effort and my partner pointed out in 8 years she's never come up to visit I always end up going.down as i have family that live near. No matter what I have to pay for 40 so looks like my h2b and brother in law will just have to have 2 meals as I can't think of anyone to bump up as they are all bigger groups than a 3.

Sprucey I've been quoted 15 pounds to have my white gold e ring re dipped so it looks new.
Today is a child free day (including h2b working lol) so I'm going to crack on with any little wedding bits I can get done
