Really don't know where to book our honeymoon??
August is expensive as summer holidays, and lots of places such as the Caribbean have bad weather at this time of the year so don't know whether to risk paying out so much and the weather may be rubbish.
Thinking maybe Turkey as we've never been there before but the prices are soooooo much higher than other times of the year!? May be better to wait until Jan to book?

Hi Suzie, I think there may be a thread for this as well.
In 2011 we went to Cuba in August and it rained for about 5 minutes one afternoon so we have decided to risk it and go for Dominican Republic for 10 nights figuring we will get some dry time hopefully.
We looked at places in the Indian Ocean and my friend is from the Maldives and she warned me that our summer months the weather seems to be getting worse that way.
I wanted somewhere we probably wont be able to go to for some time i.e when we have kids so we stuck with Caribbean.

Hi ladies, I have the same problem, I am getting married on 10th august 2014 and we were thinking about Bali which has the best weather in august but it is so expensive, so we looked at Cuba which is significantly cheaper because I think there is a small risk of hurricanes and rain. Cuba looks lovely, should I risk it and go to Cuba for 2 weeks? Xx
