Well I pack h2b off on his stag do this morning and won't see him now until tomorrow. I hope he is having fun. I have tried the dress on and had my hair done as he wasn't there to see. I need to get rid of some weight around my upper back before August. And h2b drove past and saw my hair!! Typical so off now to learn some exercises so I look my best on the day

Hey all - I haven't posted in here for a while. Hope everyone's plans are going well! I am so excited and stressed at the same time - it's really not long to go for most of us! I keep having wedding stuff floating about my head and it's difficult to focus on anything else! Does anyone else have this issue or all you all quite calm? I don't feel stressed but I have started getting upset about everything. Consent rating on me at the minute need a tan do bought a few minutes on the sun bed and had an expholiating massage. Trying not to worry as my todo list us minimal - waiting on other people is the hardest

I think me and my partner have decided on Paul Wella's "You do something to me". We were really struggling too, and then last Friday, it was our anniversary , and we were in pub after having dinner, and it started playing! Final details meeting at the reception venue next week. We'll be into July by then so we'll be able to say that we get married next month. The fact that we're talking about all the final details makes it feel so much nearer.

It's feeling so close now. We had the final details meeting with the hotel yesterday, the hen and stag dos are a week on Saturday, and dress fittings for myself and my MOHs are the day before. Suddenly everything is happening.

Could you gather a few local friends for a meal out? You might find that some people will travel. You could even include male friends.

Hi Elinor, I don't know anyone locally (but thanks for the suggestions x). I've just given up on the idea.

My MOH started work on the dresses this weekend, then the sowing machine broke. I would have suggested buying them, but she had already started. She's so upset, it doesn't take a lot as she's pretty low anyway. I suggested there might be someone who can lend her one, but she said she's going to buy one, although she can't afford it. She's had such a rough time that everything is "the end". Hopefully she'll be in a better mood today.

getting closer, hen do was great I had a day out on Sunday we did a colour run for charity before going for afternoon tea covered in paint and then going to watch proms in the park. It was a very emotional day and found myself getting stressed over tiny little things. Thankfully I had a friend with me to calm me again and remind me not to get wound up. But now I have some great memories and some great photos - I will put them on my page so you can all see. Now the real count down begins and I am the same as the rest of you and needing that magic weight loss to start!! my boobs don't fit in my dress :(

Very exciting Millie. I've got dress fittings for myself and my MOHs on Friday, and hen do on Saturday. Quite a few people have dropped out which means I'm going to end up paying for five out of the wedding budget, as I needed at least 15 for the wine and cheese tasting. The 10 that I've got should be a good group though.

Well most of them hadn't said for definite they would come, I was making assumptions because I had to book something. I think there's only a couple who had said they would come, and one of those I was going to pay for as there's no way she could have done it otherwise.

Hi everyone, havent been on here for ages due to real life taking over everything but the nearer we get to our big day the worse im feeling but cant really talk to anyone else about it so im hoping you ladies dont mind ....
I really cant wait to marry my fiancee,we truely are soulmates & with everything weve been through i know we're meant to be but im feeling as flat as a pancake about the actual wedding & other things.it might be easier if i list them as my heads a mess:
1.Our families are very different,hers have money & are very outgoing,mine dont & arent so im worried about it being a one family show.
2. Im not having a hen do as i cant afford it & my bridesmaids are 17 & 10 so obviously they cant help but my OH is having 2,1 abroad,1 home all funded by her sister who is making a huge thing of it & its making me feel like s**t.
3.Weve had to borrow money to pay for the wedding ,im cutting back on loads but my OH isnt,she has bought things recently & lied about when & where she bought them.
4.Im terrified people wont like the way i look on the day,because of our budget ive had to go from a bespoke dress to a high street dress,its pretty but i dont feel beautiful in it.
5.Ive always had low self esteem but its plummeted even more in the run up to the wedding, had my hair & make up trial yesterday & said i liked everything because i wanted to please the MUA but i hated my make up.
6.I have an estranged daughter we is coming to the wedding, my relationship with her is like we are aquaintences,my OH can barely stand the site of her (lots of trauma happened between us) so im terrified something will be said / not said & it will upset other members of the family.

Less than a month, this day has been so long coming I'm not sure I'm looking forward to it, looking forward to honeymoon tho. Finding everything hard it the minute even complained our sweets had not arrived so a second batch was posted and when I went to put them away if found the first lot so I've now paid for 2 lots lol

Well - final dress fitting last night and disaster struck!.... I've gotten a wee bit fat for my dress!! so out came all the old SW Books and the major diet that is now to follow!!!!! Eeeeekkkk.... 3 weeks and 2 days to lose about 8-9 lbs.....

But on a good note, will be paying final amount to our wedding venue this weekend after successfully getting back all our RSVP's bar 1....and rings have now been paid for. Left to pay is about £300 to our wedding photographer, £400 to the band, £50 to jeweler for my wedding day jewelry, and £80 to salon for eyelashes, nails and pedicure..... tonight my MOH and another friend are coming over to help me finish jam jars and various other decorations..... then I should be ready to rock and roll!! x

I think I'd rather just go low carb, or juice than put a panel in my dress.
