Can I ask you a question about table names? In our village we have a tradition where every August Bank Holiday Sunday we hold a raft race for Help for Heroes.Do you think it would be stupid to name our tables after things to do with this event that is close to everyone's heart in our village?
I really want something more than a number for the tables so the choice is between favourite songs/lyrics or events? xxx

Things done: Venue, ceromony, wedding breakfast, evening do - booked and deposit paid (menu - tbc) Chair covers, sashs, swags - hired - paid for. B/maid dress - ordered - paid half Wedding dress - paid for (hanging up at relatives house) eek! Invitations - in process of making Cake and flowers - my mum making and paying for Place name cards - purchased Guest list day time - sorted Guest list evening do - to finalise Table crystals, confetti, bubbles - purchased
the rest is all to sort - didn't realise how much organising there is!

Hiya, Im getting married on Friday 24th August at 3pm. Iv booked all the vital things like venue, photographer, florist etc Having a break from planning until after Xmas then im sure it will be all go :)

we are almost paid..... well by this I mean we almost have all of the money sitting there, we have paid of 6k but keeping the rest in the bank account until we need to part with our hard earned pennies :( Will all be worth it tho. Just have to hope that dave can put up with his poorly tush until he gets it operated or we will have to fork out 3k (i.e. wedding ring money) on private care. He is fairly confident he will be able to cope tho but obv his health will come first as thats more important. Fingers crossed it is only 6 weeks and not 18 weeks.... why do different docs tell you different things at the same hospital?????

we were told he would have to wait 6 weeks for his op which is not a problem by one doc. We are then told by another doc that he may have to wait 18 weeks, again not a big problem if the issue is one thing which they hope it is as there is only a 4 week recovery time. If it is the OTHER thing then it is a 4-5 month minimum recovery time meaning if we have to wait 18 weeks, he will still have a stitch in an uncomfy place by the wedding and have difficulty sitting for the meal etc and dancing about.
We really dont want to pay private though, as it is a lot of money but dave also doesnt think he can manage 18 weeks as he is, whether there is a wedding or not. Fingers crossed we dont have to wait too long to get him in x

we are getting married on the 30th august! We are just about to book the venue, have booked the church,have ordered rings, have bridesmaids dresses and that is pretty much it! H2b is booking the time off work tomorrow ! Spent yesterday designing save the date magnets but can't decide which ones we like best.

We picked our rings today! Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Mine is a beautiful 9ct gold, chanel set, 1/4carat band and his is a two tone titanium band. Mine is costing almost £400 (Bargain!) And his is costing £80!!! (BARGAIN!) Very happy with our purchases today
