sent the cheque :( Almost cried when hubby to be made me pay off 2k to venue after a discussion aaaagh! I know it needs paying but I liked my pennies being in my bank. I have never had so many as I used to just spend all my pennies :( I think though that she is now no longer expecting another cheque in may as she said she will send me a total bill after we confirm numbers. I know roughly what we owe though so may still chip away at it but not finish the payment incase numbers do change. Ooooo exciting that the 'to be paid section' is drastically going down. 10k left and we are all paid up woooooo

Going to the venue tonight to pay her some money, but I wont pay off the total balance until a month before, because numbers might change. I will give her £1,000 tonight and that should only leave £4-500 left to pay. then we just have the £265 to pay the registrar, then I think we're done.......
yay we have flowers to pay ,church and half of honeymoon left! shud be gone by end of april. and have started gettin honeymoon clothes too

I'm more nervous then excited at the moment to be honest lol Booked to give notice on the 10th April left it a bit but due to money situations its had to wait but finally will be all sorted on the 10th
Ive got a fair few back some with food issues...like "my kids are not really chicken nuggetty..they are more fish fingery" i mean! really!!!!! jeeez xx lol i look forward to what else ppl have to say hahahaha!

Lol I don't really have many day guests so hoping I don't get too much hassle although one of the best men and mil2b has already turned their noses up at spiced morrocan chicken (our main course) so its plain chicken breast for them I havent put a menu in my invites so they get what they're given everyone else that is lol x
Ive got a few nut allergies (my mum included!) and a gluten intollerant so far......its amazing what you find out about people! lol... I wanted to include a menu as ive been to sooo many weddings where i have thought ooohhh, i should have opted for a veggie had ive known what the meal was, thats not me being ungrateful at all, but i really hate fish and cannot eat it at all. So really it was food wasted for them, when i could have just said veggie over here Please! I do tend to opt for the veggie meals now tho - just in case xxxx

lol aww bless ya I just think we wanted that so people will have to make do lol its such a small wedding that most people will hear from word of mouth what the meal is so if they don't like it they can tell me lol x
We got a major nut allergy - all she needs to do is breathe in the same air as someone who's had nuts a few days before before she needs to go hospital immediately!! Had to have a few changes on our menu and limit what we can have which is a shame as tehre was some lovely options but couldnt incase of traces of nuts! But then again would prefer this than have an ambulance arrive during the day! xx
We are booked to give notice this afternoon at 2pm, (this will be the second time, and second payment! as we changed venue) but we may have to cancel as H2B is ill in bed with food poisoning. he has been in bed all week, and today I am on annual leave and plan to look after him......if he'll let me , you know what men are like! I am so worried about him, he has lost so much weight in a week.....

Gave notice today.....(H2B struggled but he made it) and now its all official again....! Squeeeeeeeeel !

I am getting excited too. H2b gets paid next wednesday so will hopefully be paying for videographer and favours :D I find the more things u manage to tick off the to do list the more it sinks in :D

we've had to include it on all of the invites, the venue is contacting suppliers to ensure anything and everything involved with wedding breakfast is not made with or near nuts etc... Bit of a nightmare really but she has pretty high dosages of medication with her just in case so hopefully it should be ok.. She got married last year and we've done everything as a precaution as what she did so fingers crossed it'll be alright! x x

gonna get my bridesmaids bouquets finished this weekend and order invitations..... Havent been able to carry on with the bridesmaids dresses this week as H2B has been off work sick, and I dont want him to see any of them, so if he is back to work on Monday night, then I will get going with them again......

With the allergies also, dont forget the guest with the allergy is aware of her severity, so really should not be putting herself in any situations (if thats the right word) like trying the cake, or the favours which may cause her reactions, and as you've already said, has her medication just in case something unfortunately does occur, you cannot wrap everything in cotton wool sadly x

Yeah she is fully aware so at least thats one less worry as such...She works as a secondary school teacher and the entire school follows the measures to make sure no nuts are in contact with her, as do her students - pretty serious stuff! :S But we've done everything we can so fingers crossed!! xx

I am very suprised at myself to be honest, i'm not normally, ive probably forgotten something major lol although I am having a massive issue with my stationary but your right, it will definitely be worth it
jakesmummy I think we are all having issues with stationary haha! Whats been the matter? Ours has been designing it as I really didnt want to do any of the stationary and didnt like what we could buy so had to design it ourselves, then the card came in and its too thick to go in the printer, then we struggled to find a printer who is able to print on that type of card (I even resorted to seeing if our school printers could cope.... nope) so after almost crying because we love the deisgn so much and yet thought we couldnt print on it, we finally found a printers but not happy with the price but have just had to accept it all now or we have to re-design so we went agead start of this week. When are you sending your invites out? We want to send ours from next week if poss and rsvp by end of may. Does this sound about right?

Im an August Bride too...11th August :) I cant wait...the time is going so quick though. I love the wedding planning and wish I could do it forever...well aswell as getting married :) x x
