Mine were given to me on a disk unedited, I didn't get half the photo's I asked for I don't have a single picture of my husband and son together and I have 3 pictures of my husband before the ceremony only 1 group shot that was awful

this is the only group shot I have the photographer just took one I also have only 1 picture of me getting out of the car and its so bad I deleted it I look like my b**bs are falling out of my dress and my hair is all wind swept across my face Plus she took lots of pics of the same things decor, rings, bouquet rather than pics of us out of all my pics I couldn't even scrape together a decent album and trying to pick one nice one to be blown up has been a nightmare the only thing that saved it a bit was the best man is a photographer and with his pics plus some decent guests pics I have made a nice album but I'm still disappointed with everything that has been missed and the bad quality x
Me too Sian! my photographer.....who was CRAP! took 9-10 bad shots of everything else, and ONE group shot, and took it at such an extreme angle we look like like we're queuing for a bus! Luckily my son took better one, but the only problem with that is....he's not in it! And the re-shoot on Saturday will be great. but its only the main players, all the guests wont be there, so I wont get the chance of another group shot. The only thing I can think of is cloning Daniel into the photo.....

oh no.... I dont know what to recommend but I am glad you have managed to piece together an albulm but you shouldnt have to do that. Can you get your money back?

i was a bit disappointed with my photos aswell from my photographer, dont get me wrong she has got some lovely photos, but i hvent got any of my untie on her own, the only one she is in she is hidden slightly by my sons head! and i havent got any of my dress, in its full glory, or of my bouquet etc, u can see these in the photos but there are no shots just dedicated to these things, but i do have a lot of the cake! go figure! anyway i was lucky enough to have some pics from friends that were good aswell so we can get an album together. I have asked her if i can have a copy of all the photos that she took on the day, unedited of course, so hopefully i will find some of what i want in there if she sends them, im just glad really that she didnt cost me too much! I will do a big day thread now, should really get round to doing one! x

girls I have posted some of the pics in a separate thread on here... I think its still on the first page though if you want to take a nosey :) Becky if it makes you feel better they missed out my jewellry too and got the perfume wrong (they picked up the gucci ed parfum moisturiser not realising it wasnt purfume instead of the real gucci perfume) and my mate who got married before me said she is missing a lot of her group shots like with her mum etc. I think it is easy to miss shots out but annoying for us brides isnt it. We stressed key shots or said we would get some of our money back and so we were lucky as they made sure we had several of the key group shots when we would have been more than happy with one each so we were lucky. My friend is missing loads of these though as I said and her images are taken from quite far away so I think the message is that there is always unfortunately going to be something.

Hello married ladies! Just wondering how you are all feeling now you are married and the wedding is over? I STILL feel the wedding blues and miss my wedding. I loved the planning so much and didnt realise how it had become such a huge focus in my life. Now I feel lost without it! Is it just me or does anyone else feel like this? I also dont feel the same about friends who made things difficult for me in the run up to the wedding and even on my day. For example my best friend who was a bridesmaid was a neurotic mess and even insisted her hairstyle was changed on the morning of the wedding after the hair stylist had done what she asked for, making us late. And another friend who came round the week after the wedding and pointed out the negatives of my day to me! I think of how great my day was to me and h2b though and try to be upbeat but I feel so mad at them, like i dont want them in my life anymore and I also miss having such a big exciting focus in my life. Feel like such a nutter feeling this way ;(

I did a lot of DIY for my wedding, like making the dresses and bouquets etc, and I dont really miss that if I am honest.......but I do miss the excitement of it all....the run up to the wedding was wonderful, especially those 2-3 days before the day, when you are booked in for your nails and make up trials, finished work 2-3 days beforehand to get things dropped off at venues and picking cakes up.....shifting dresses and table decorations.....Yes I miss all that.......and the day goes by in such a blur.....
I loved my wedding and would love to do the whole thing again, and if I did....I wouldnt change a thing......(well yes I would actually.....I would have had a better photographer)! The weather was gorgeous, my guests were well fed and happy, and it was just how I hoped it would be.......

sometimes I miss it because it was a big focus and I miss popping into chester and seeing if there is a little something I can buy on the off chance so we are focussing now on sorting the house out to make us feel better

yeah i know what u mean sazzell, my sister was a mess on the day, and she since has been admitted to a mental hospital cos she had a bit of a breakdown. shes out now though. Its just life isnt it, its not perfect and thinga happen and friendships come and go. Its a bit sad we dont have any of the planning left to do such as buying the odd wedding related thing and looking at dresses etc but we have our futures to look forward to. We are planning another child, a holiday, hopefully get a car and get driving and do the house up or move in the next year or so and decorate that, so theres plenty still to keep us busy. I do love looking back at photos of the day though, takes me back and makes me all nervous as if it was yesterday x

Not to seem a bit cheeky Becky but I don't think I would be moaning if my photographer had just missed my jewellery shot when I don't even have a single photo of myself that she took where I don't look pregnant/huge in the pics because of the bad angles and I know I can look good in pics because of the ones taken by other people, plus all the important pictures I have were awful! I am looking to book myself a cherish the dress shoot as I don't think she got my dress in its glory and so many people commented on what a gorgeous dress it was also want to re hire suits for my husband and son so we can get some nice family shots too x

I was worried I might not enjoy doing it again, but we had a right giggle at how silly it all was, and I also thought I wouldnt like the pictures......but although I know they arent from my actual wedding day.....I cant look at those because they upset me. And I LOVE my new photos.. I have approx 50% from my actual wedding day that I have salvaged, clever cropping some of them, and deep editing the others. then made the numbers up with the re shoot pictures......It was well worth it, you will regret it in time if you dont do it...... would hubby dress up again and have some taken?
It would so be worth doing a cherish the dress, and then looking to get your bad photos edited properly......You sound how I felt (gutted), but I acted quickly on it before I changed my mind....and I am so glad I did. I think if more time had gone by there would have been too may differences, the weather, peoples hairstyles......and our willingness to do it, it would have been so easy to just say......'oh they'll do'' when they bloody well WONT do.. you put a hell of a lot of effort into your day, chose the right dress, shoes, hair make-up etc etc etc.......and the photos are all you have to show that.....they HAVE to be right....

sian i only moanin cos i said to her thsi was one of pictures i deffo wnated! i veted my phtographer looked through thousands of her pics before i booked her , dont gte me wrong she was ace! just the fact she dint do that or the one of me and my mum alone! which is understable a daughter n mother pic on weddin day is to be cherishes!
i wud deffo do cherish ure dress! my mate got married 4 years ago n just had a mate that was a student do hers n they wasnt gud so shes booked a photo shoot for her and hubby to have them done! shes had a bbay since n dress stil fits her lol
