Ive had a quick look on the bay of e and they have some, why not gerberas ? Are they for bouquets or table decs x

Stu doesnt want us to have them :0( I love them! I have looked on the bay of e.. but only really the thistle ones. they dont have to be the same flower but I would like a mixture for the cp's (going in a birds nest) and the bouquets. :0) Kxxxx

Aubergine is a difficult colour to find flowers in,unless you specifically requested certain types of flowers to be dyed this colour. I only know of aubergine calla lillies but maybe you could do a mix with a few purpley flowers such as purple sweet peas, violet pansies and some cream flowers within the bouquet/centre pieces too. xx

thats my only option isnt it June.... I have ben racking my brains and just cant find others.. So the bouquets will be simple with a mix of white and aubergine for me and the bm,s can have white/cream - their dresses are aubergine (At the mo) if it comes to it I will have to change the colour scheme to purple and pink but its not really what I want to do. :0( You and Emmie have great minds, she also mentioned sweet peas! So then I have to find what flowers to put in the CP's. The tables will just have the birds nest in the centre, the name cards are made out of wood and shaped as hearts and I have tiny little hearts instead of table crystals.. the table will be white linen, chair covers white linen and the sash's would/will be aubergine... So not a lot of colour... so do i go for coloured flowers in the cp's or have something like cream/white peonies?? Kxxxxx

My colour is aubergine too & silver & I never knew how difficult it'd be to match that colour!! It's been a nightmare but I love it so I'm not changing lol! xx

Im having aubergine too and silver, I love the colour too, I have pics of my bm in their dresses. Im having purple calia lillies, but for your bouquests I think you could get away with having a mix of purple. My bridesmaids arent having purple in theirs as I thought it would be too much, since as the dress is so dark as it is.

My colour is aubergine (dark purple) and silver. It has been a nightmare to find stuff to match. trust me to pick something obscure!

hello.. or you could get silk flowers....that way you have them forever and in whatever colour you want. I've been looking at some really realistic ones and they had sunflowers in an aubergine colour which were quite cool looking..

thanks guys., I have looked at Silk but H2B doesnt want them :0( Looked at the ornamental cabbage & ranunculus too, girlies, so what I am doing is finding out whats in season, bearing in mind it will be October and going from there, but I really want an aubergine, plum sort of colour. The BM dresses will match (as close as can be) these colours. If I cant find the right colour then the BM dress theme will have to change too! lol!
I have been told that anemones are available in most colours so thats a good thing as quite wild :0) xx

Ive tried to upload pics of my dress before, not sure if its me or my rubbish laptop but it doesnt work and im loathe to use house p.c in case i leave the pics lying around for h2b to see! I'll text my friend no w, wedding was a couple of years ago but Im sure she'll have some to send.... cant promise it'll be before mine though as I wont get much chance to get on after today.
