I think all the Mods and J need to have a good cyber chat. Set the rules and boundaries and then let the rest of us know. At least then we will ALL know what is acceptable and what isnt?? And we wont lose some bloody good Mods like we seem to be doing now!
I don’t repeat gossip so listen very carefully!!

most forums have a sticky at the top of the page outlining exactly what the rules are but this one doesnt seem to so maybe thats what would help people for eg..... (theses are just ideas please dont shoot me )
1) no advertising-this means do not posts names of suppliers or website, if you know of a place that can help a person out post it on yours or their wall
2) post topics to the relevent sections-if its about your dress "wedding dress" and so on if its off topic please ensure you label as such
3) No pointless topcics- Such as "it looks like rain" this doesnt include "need advice had an argument" if you feel someone can help with what your posting or you have something you feel others would like to see you should be fine if its completly random lets keep it off
these are just ideas some of it might be completly unneccessary for this site but laying the rules out more clearly for both the mods and users may help everyone end the confusion xx

I agree. Completely.
We either talk nothing but weddings or we allow general chit chat.
People WILL post what is deemed as pointless threads - to them it may be a big issue.
And there will be duplicate threads - i for one cannot be ar8ed spending half an hour looking for a topic that may possibly have been posted 2 weeks or 2 months previously,
This kind of shite does not happen on other forums so im fecked if i know why its bloody happening on here,
Threads are being deleted that i think are perfectly acceptable, whilst others stay - i have no damned clue what the hell is going on and its become such a big issue over what i consider to be nothing that its wound me right up and i've had it now.
If someone could PLEASE tell me what the big deal is then i'd appreciate it because i for one cannot see the harm in someone wanting to post about their worries/their day etc. If its a repeat post or is deemed pointless then why the hell are we wasting time constantly reminding folk its been done before or getting stressed about it?? Dont we have weddings to organise or advice to give?
Let it drop off the bottom - its no big deal!

I feel the whole repetitive posts thing is often not true When I post, it usually has something to do with my personal circumstances/wants/personality. It may seem like a duplicate post but responses directed at the specific question I've asked are what I need, and everyone is very helpful with this. I also don't understand why we can't post general chit chat when there is a non-wedding related forum. I posted something quite important to me about how I had seen 2 humans in a week as I'd been confined to my flat, and needed some company and it was deleted. Not complaining that it was, I just don't understand why it was! xxx
