Just a quickie - I still feel very much in dream land and my head isn't back to normal mode yet.
A truly magical, emotional day.
Panics: Bridesmaid dress stepped on and ripped all across the back just as we leave the hotel - random hotel guest lays on the floor, under her dress , sewing it up.
Son reports husband :-) still in his shorts, writing speech as he left to come and get me!

Highlights:
Cousin gets in contact out of the blue the night before and makes it to our day
Chelsea legend Ray Wilkins happened to be at a function in the next room - walked in during our wedding breakfast - husband's face was pure pleasure and shock - he stood and applauded and the rest of the room joined in. Very special moment for son and husband.
Dear friend , dropped out after suddenly discovering cancer tumour in his bladder during the week. Operation wednesday, chemotherapy thursday, home from hospital friday - and couldnt believe my eyes when he walked in about 8 pm and stayed with us for about 2 hours.

Singer was out of this world - loved every minute and worth every penny.
DJ played his own choice of songs and ignored our playlist - after letting him know I was p!ssed we got our songs for the last hour or so
So much of the day - especially ceremony felt like a blur - surreal and a bit like auto pilot took over.

regrets: being back at work monday - should've taken the week off to just bask in the dreamy feeling of it all for a while
