Is it really that hard to find a cheap marquee or party tent that will seat up to 20-30 people with tables, chairs, tableware, loos, power source, heaters, flooring and roof lining at a cheap price - a price that isn't about £1500 upwards?
Surely it can't be! I've been looking all day - yes all day.

I think marquees have always been an expensive option and I dont think you will find anything much cheaper than that but you never know someone on her might be able to help.

I actually don't think £1500 is that bad for what you want... I know it sounds a lot with the amount of people you're having, but I think that is a cheap price for all of that! If it was just the marquee then I'd be saying just get one from argos cause they do huge ones, but for heating, loo's, power, flooring etc, that sounds reasonable to me!

But I see you're not getting married for 3 years, maybe ask for a discount for booking so far in advance?

I don't think you'll get one much cheaper either. My SIL2B is having a marquee costing that much and still has to pay venue hire on top of that. Crazy!

You won't get any cheaper than £1500, I think that is a really good price for what you're asking. The only way you could do it cheaper is if you want it to look cheap.

Is there a way you can hire a hall istead? You might be able to decoarted with fabric swags if you want a bit of a marquee look and it could work out loads cheaper x

Un-feaking believable! I finally find one that will do most of the main things I need expect loos and a power sauce. And it all comes under £900 - amazing! But they won't cover my area! Arrgh!!!!!!

Plus side-ish, just got an e-mail for one that does it for £1200... getting better I suppose. That does cover my area.
