LOL...Blimey i started this post ages ago, And have LOVED reading all your name changes, or even if you are staying the same name and H2B is changing his....

I was sat in the Drs surgery this evening.. waiting for my name to flash up on the monitor to say Dr was ready for me.... and was trying to imagine what my Mrs Trisha Goddard would look like up on the screen LOL
And once it lit up would people look around for THE Trisha Goddard LOL

Cant wait to change my name....! :)

angelan1986, my duaghter has same surname as me, and my 2nd has h2b's surname. my first partner did not want my 1st though he has since died. his family has never bothered, but my h2b's family may as well have taken their place. we have been very lucky in that respect. but i have a double-barrell surname as well as a middle name which is riddiculous when coming to filling out official forms and things alike. I did not give my first a middle name due to the surname, but i have have my second. my first child is only four but is really looking forward to taking on the surname of her brother. im exceited about this also as we will all have the same surname, a family at last (in name anyway) something of a novelty since the situation with my first childs family ( for which i must point out they are not even considered that) xx

Im going to me Mrs Claire McAdam instead of Miss Claire Duff. Its so much easier to type my name as it is now but i know that h2b would be very upset if i didnt take his name but once we are married i'll have the same last name as our daughter as well and we'll finally feel like a proper family

I'm going to be Mrs Thurston-Jones, I cant work out whether it sounds classy or chavvy! lol

.."She'll promise you more than the Garden of Eden
Then she'll carelessly cut you and laugh while your bleeding
But she'll bring out the best and the worst you can be
Blame it all on yourself 'cos she's always a woman to me.."

I'm definitely taking my H2B's name, I can't wait. I'll be Mrs Michelle Keates, thats the first time i've ever written that, it looks weird! It'll feel even weirder as I'm a teacher so I'll be Mrs Keates, and his mum was my teacher when I was at school, so obviousy Mrs Keates too!
