I was wondering whether or not we should do this or not as I imagine it is a lot more polite, and will hopefully speed up replies...but may be a waste of money if people only use our online r.s.v.p facility. What are you doing and if you are including stamps are you sticking them to the r.s.v.p envelope or leaving them loose? xxx

We will be putting SAEs in as that way no one can make any excuses for not replying if its only a matter of sticking it in a postbox, although we're doing this as im not counting ANYONE in my final nums if they dont RSVP by a certain date ! xx

deffo not gonna do that its just more expense!!
CommentAuthorVintageChic
I'll be doing it purely as the guest list is so small it's really just a formality not really like we NEED to recieve the replies, we know who will be there lol
I'll be sticking the stamps to the envelopes though, dont want any cheekies using it for other things

Just to make things easier and so there are no excuses we will be putting stamps on the RSVPs. That way people just have to drop it in the box. If you buy a pack of 12 every week with your shopping for a while before you send them out you wont notice the cost mounting up.

we are going to try, it may speed up the process -not that we are n a rush- but it would be nice to i think. x

CommentAuthorSoon2beMrsHall
NO i am not putting stamps on there. One i cant afford to send out all the invitation and then stick stamps on the the RSVP's too. If they want to coem they will go to the shop and buy a stamp they dont cost alot for one so i am sure people wont mind
Cant wait to to marry Martyn
Wishes the wedding would come faster

We didn't even send RSVP cards, just the postal address, a mobile number and an email address. We've mostly had postal RSVPs, people don't seem to mind buying a card and posting it. In the grand scheme of things, people paying for a card and a stamp is not much, and having to pay out for the invitations, and one set of stam,ps to post them is enough. xx

just been watching bridezilla and it concerns me that even if u add the stamps, you still may end up chasing loads of ppl. We were hoping that by adding the stampls ppl would be quicker on the ball

If you are going to send stamps (I'm not) then you need to get them before the 1st of April as they are going up 5p!
