Just wondered what people were doing. Do you think its better value to hire or to buy suits. I will need about 7 suits for 3 weeks.

Hiya, we're hiring cos h2b will not wear the suit again and my son will be 11 so he won't be able to wear it again. He kept the suit from his first wedding but that's because it was made for him.
Plus it gives us extra funds for other things x x

I cant believe how much the suits are that we like - £131 for the suit, waistcoat, shirt and cravat! but H"B wants tails, so no point buying really!

Ouhh we're hiring ours we've got 8 suits from Thurs - Mon & have cost us £730, i'd proberly say it's cheaper to buy them if your hiring them for that long, but ring a few places & check. :)

Were hiring ours too. But we have to buy my sons as he'll only be 1 at the time and i can only find suits for 2 year olds to hire :-( but they do do matching asseriers for the younger ones so doing that instead. getting them 8 days before and sending back 2 days after. £69 each (includes suit, cravet, handkerchief, waistcoat and shirt that you get to keep) and groom goes free if you have 6 :-)

We're going to buy but only because we're not bothered about having the tails etc so a regular suit will do and h2b can wear it for work afterwards : )

we are hiring as we need 8 suits, the company that we are thinking about using has an offer that if u order over 4 suit packages then the groom gets his one free, we are hiring top hat and tails, the shirt, cravat, waistcoat and shoes for £85 per suit xx

We are letting everyone wearing their own and providing ties. They probably won't match but at least they will be comfortable.

I wear suit's alot so I thought about buying, but I wan't my best man and ushers to all be dressed the same and I've always wanted to wear tails, so I've decided to hire. Just wondered where everyone is hiring from? I went in to Moss Bros and their suits are nice but the waistcoats are rubbish, no back to them. anyone found nice tails somewhere else? :)

we have found an amazing deal... all our groomsmen are paying to rent their suits and my H2B gets his free for £85 they get personalised cufflinks to keep, shoes to keep and a hankecheif that matches our colour scheme it really is impressive for the prince edward suits that they have chosen

I really wanted to see H2b in Prince Edward but he doesn't fancy it..Anyway we are hiring at £85 each for the lot and they keep the shirt!
we will be hiring 5 suit because h2b want tails, so does the groommen so they will be paying. i will be buying my page boys suits and hiring waistcoat and cravat for them.

We have hired suits x 7 at the cost of £72 pp that includes tails, shirt, waistcoat, jacket, cravat, hankerchief, shoes and cuff links. All the men have to provide themselves is undies and socks. WHO IS PAYING FOR ALL OF THE SUITS OUT OF THE WEDDING BUDGET AND WHO IS GETTING THEM EACH TO PAY FOR THEMSELVES?
