Ok I've just realised that I have no idea when to send out my invites and ask for rsvp's? Im getting married on 29th June 2013 so was thinking about sending them out at the beginning of March then asking for rsvp's back by the beginning of May. I've got to give exact number to the venue 3 weeks before.
Does this sound ok or have I got it all wrong?
Just thought i'd ask now before I forget it and also so im prepared lol xx

Sounds fine to me! I sent mine out a bit too early i think, about 4 months before! but i do need it all confirming 3 months before for rooms! x

Defo sounds about right. 6-8 weeks before the big day, gives them plenty of time to get back to you, and gives you time to chase them up before having to let the venue know numbers... xx

We are getting married July 2013, invites will be going out Jan2013, RSVP by April 2013 so gives 1 month to chase up any who have forgotten before meeting with Venue 8 weeks before wedding.
