:-) I'm on FB too but can't talk pregnancy at the minute as my sis in law just suffered a miscarriage and I thought it best to stop my pregnancy updates and stuff for the time being but I will add you at some point in the near future if you want :-)
Yeah good choice stop trying till after the wedding :-) I've seen a few brides in magazines and on tv who walk down the aisle at 8 and 9 months and I just think omg how can they enjoy their day and make sure they can get in the dress lol. I want baby no 2 close after this one but I don't get married till August 2014 so if it doesn't happen within a few months I may just forget about it :-(
If you are planning on trying soon after the wedding my advice is to start folic acid in the next few months. I got pregnant accidentally and as such I was told by the doctor that folic acid can take a while to have an effect so don't be like me and leave it too late, though I couldn't help it as we hadnt planned on babies till after the wedding.

Hi,
I'm 31 and expecting my first in May. My oh is 47  so we really didn't want to wait until after the wedding.
It took us 10 months to conceive and we suffered an early loss in January, but I'm now 16 weeks :-)
I think it's far more common to wait until your 30s to start trying for babies - my sister is 36 and still isn't ready to start trying yet, although I think it will be soon, and my other sister is also due in March and is 33 :-) xxxxx

I think it's really common for people to try to babies in their 30s and 40s. I want to wait till I'm 30 at least before trying for a baby, getting married next year and then want to do some work on the house and a few holidays and then I will be ready x x

I'm 35 in a couple of weeks and we're going to start trying next year. Bit later than originally planned, but things happen. Decided it's then or never though!
Vegas baby!

J is your husband a first time dad?
Yeah I think a lot of women are waiting till they are well into their 30s before having kids. For me I wasn't interested in having kids at all in my life, or at least I hadn't seriously thought about it until I was 29. And even then it was a case of "If it happens it happens". I've about 3 and a half months to go, I felt the first trimester really dragged but after the first scan time has gone a lot quicker :-) pretty soon I'll be into double figures in my number of days countdown lol which is great but I'm also nervous about the birth too! And that's probably because I have put off having kids for so long lol. Just had my flu vaccination last week I even hated that lol and I'm sure that's going to be nothing compared to what's going to happen lol.
I just hope I don't have to have a cesarean section :-( yikes! Oh and my fiancé isn't much help lol he keeps saying stuff like "You aren't the first and you won't be the last" and all that crap gosh he's so understanding lol!

Lol men dont have a clue. Yeah I will have to have a c section when I have kids so got to think about the trauma onto my body to. But it will be well worth it. I am broody now, but I really want to wait a few years before trying x x

@I'll-be-36 - hahahah!!! My oh keeps saying to women on the checkouts in supermarkets that I@m using pregnancy as an excuse to do nothing!!! hahah!! Hilarious because they ALL glare at him! Now he just does it for effect ahah!
This is his first. He was married when he was 20 but divorced pretty quickly, and has never found anyone else he wanted to marry or have children with. I know he's alittle older, but the benefit is he really feels ready, and feels he's done all the "selfish" things in life, plus he doesn't look or act his age that's for sure!!
I haven't even thought about the birth, I keep on planning my wedding as an avoidance tactic! I dread a c section as I don't scar very well, but obviously I will do whatever is necessary.
I had my flu jab about 3 weeks ago and I've been really poorly for the last two weeks and had a total of 7 days off work now over the last couple of weeks. I'm starting to feel pretty fed up and coughing has meant a return of the sickness as well every morning!!!
3 and a half months isn't long!!! Hve you got pretty much everything sorted?

Nope I've got nothing sorted out, we've got very little money and I had to give up my job about a month ago as I was working 10 hour days four days a week and although I could have gone part time I would still have had to to 2 shifts of ten hours and when I gave it up I was taking dizzy fits so it was the right choice at the time. Once Christmas is out of the way we can start buying stuff though and I just know we will be ok.
In just a few days ill be 25 weeks, it seems like a lifetime ago when I found out :-) I am really looking forward to the birth but dreading it at the same time, though I think I'm not dreading it as much as I had been in previous weeks :-) my fiancé felt the baby moving for the first time last night which was a moment to remember :-) but sadly she only kicked once for him then stopped :-(
