I have posted before about h2b's last suit - worn 3 times in 2 years costing total of £99 brand new and its designer, so at the moment we are thinking of just buying something, but as we have so long to go yet we don't know for sure.

    I'm now a married woman
    I have a gorgeous husband
    Whats to do now
Theres no more wedding planning to do

We saw some nice ones in matalan and asda but I've also found a suit company on line that is £250 per suit and waistcoat but they have a 50% discount code at the moment so it would make them £125 each. Still slightly more money than the others that we have seen for about £70 but they are really good quality so my h2b can wear it again for meetings etc.

We're definitely going to buy h2b's suit, as I know he'll get lots of use out of it... going to have a look around h2b's favourite suit so far was in Primark lol! We were going to get him one from a local suit shop but it's closed down now so needing to have another look around...

I quite like the idea of just getting nice shirts and ties but I know h2b wants to wear a waistcoat...and it'll be the middle of November so quite cold! Again will have to go shopping... I know h2b's brother is coming over soon so if we can arrange something with best man, we can set about finding something!

h2b at 1st wanted a morning suit but I am not so sure any more. I love him to bits, but he is as tall as I am 5'4" (quite short for a man) and I will wear heels, if he was to wear a morning suit he would look even shorter, and am not sure how comfortable he'd feel but he doesn't realize it, so I showed him some tuxedos, (most likely from asda) and he says it's not bad, but he's a bit indecisive so next Sunday, I'll take him to Asda, which is 10 min away from us I'll pretend groceries shopping, and have him try it on and see how he feels. It'd be cheaper to get tux from asda for all 5 men, than hiring and I'd get h2b burgundy bow tie and cummerbund whereas all other men, will only have black bow ties.

Just sorted them out today and they look absolutely stunning!!!!

I said to H2b that he needs to decide what colour suit he's going to wear (black, navy, grey whatever) and then tell his bestman and ushers to wear the same colour with a white shirt. And then we'll buy the ties. H2B doesn't like wearing suits or even ties, so no point spending a ton of money on something he won't keep on for very long! I can guarantee you the minute the photographers are over, he'll have thrown the suit jacket and tie away haha! x

We got H2Bs and my sons from Matalan, cant remember exactly how much but pretty cheap and very good quality! They even sold the right colour cravats for £2.50 in the sale! Had to get the waistcoats from Debenhams to match though and they were £30 each :( But at least they both have smart suits to wear again, and the waistcoats and cravats can go on ebay after!

We've just ordered 12 suits with M Bros and just paid half the total cost as a deposit now and the rest closer to the time. 3 are children's, and they're also doing "the groom goes free", but the adult suits were about £100 each (that's for trousers, jacket, shirt, waistcoat, cravat, and hankerchief) so don't know where they got £200 for your deposit Kimmy! I'd definately double check that! x

Oh yes they did that when H2B was a Best Man a couple of years ago, but they don't actually charge the card. It's just so they could do if the suit didn't find it's way back! They've got insurance included with them though for small damage. All ours will get returned in one piece (or else, lol) but people are going to give a swipe of their own cards not ours, just in case..! H2B looks so good in his suit I'd consider letting them take the payment off the card so we can keep it. LOL! ;-) x
