I'm thinking of joining the be active scheme as I desperately need to lose weight, the problem is I have 2 children and by the time H2B gets back from work its out of free hours so neither of us can go due to work and looking after children. I was just wondering if anyone uses the scheme at a gym in Birmingham with a creche? or that have later hours that you can go?

I'm in Tamworth and I tried to find a place that did the be active scheme but couldn't find anywhere. When I used to live in Derbyshire they used to do schemes where you could get free gym membership if you were on benefits but they don't do it over here. :0(

I just had a look for the be active in tamworth and couldn't find anything either. I know the be active scheme is for everybody so probably only in really highly populated areas. if you're on benefits then try calling your local council as they may have a local scheme in that area. sorry to not be much help.

I'm under the hospital physio at the moment so I get to use their gym every three weeks but it would be nice to be able to just go and walk in the pool more often. Just can't afford to do it which is a shame cause I would love to be able to do it more. Have you had any more luck finding a creche?
