more than one pair of wedding shoes? I went shopping today and finished up buying a pair of Moda in Pelle 'Caren' in nude. I'm wearing an ivory dress and the shoes are a bit darker so now undecided if they will actually go with the dress.
I've also fell in love with a pair of shoes, new, on ebay. The auction finishes in a couple of days and I really have my heart set on them. I was thinking of keeping both - one for the ceremony/reception - and one pair for the evening (even though we're only in the hotel bar lol). Anyone else doing the same? And does it matter if the shoes are a bit darker than the dress (pics of dress on profile)??

Its natural for a woman to buy 100 pairs of shoes and still not be happy, if you think they're too dark just get new ones so long as the budget allows it

im going for a pair of shoes and changing to a pair of slippers in the evening (i need my comfort), so i dont see an issue with changing shoes during the day

Same here having 4 inch for day do and then flats for the night do because when im drunk i fall alot and don't want to break my leg on my wedding day and be in cast on honeymoon. When my friend got married she had same shoes as i have and she broke her ankle at the reception and spent 6 weeks in cast in the maldeaves. :(
I'm starting to consider it...I definately think changing into some flats once we're at the reception might be a good idea!!! Your dress is gorgeous by the way Mym72 xxx

Aww thamks littlegerald. I've justified the wedding budget by buying one pair from that and one one will from my wage lol. both are going to be three inch heels - because I definitely can't wear any higher without tripping over lol. And I've just about convinced myself it won't matter if the shoes are a darker shade than the dress - they won't be seen much anyway.

Just remember if your having high heels for the ceremony and then flat shoes for later. Your dress will be longer.
I'll be in my wellies all day, i'm going for super comfort. xxxx
