Hi ladies,

I've just been browsing around looking at wedding favours and the boxes to put them in, getting a idea of prices and stuff. I found some 'cupcake boxes' in the wedding favour part of a website and I just had a massive light bulb moment! But is it strange to have cupcakes as a wedding favour? Has anyone had cupcakes as a wedding favour? Or anyone thought of the idea before? x

loads of people have them. i wanted them but some of the places were charging ridiculous amounts so i decided not to. the boxes are very cheap tho and they are so easy to make yourself if you had the time but very stressful in the last few days before wedding! x

I've just had a quote from a friend who said she will do 90 cupcakes for £100 with rose decorations to go with the colour theme and also some jokey with a military theme for my partner. I'm undecided on this as well haha! x

thats a very good price go for it. some places were charging £5 per cupcake for the really fancy ones. i would just make sure they are really pretty ones with flowers etc for favours and good quality x

We had cupcakes but not as favours. Out favours were the sweets in the fish bowls on the tables.

I was going to make cupcakes as favours but decided on palma violets in little bags instead lol, much less stress than making cupcakes ! That's a great price ! Shops charge £3.50 - £5 per cupcake ! xxx

I've put some photos up of hopefully what I will be getting on my page :) The roses will be in my colour theme which is going to be gold and then the military ones are for my partner. Hopefully the roses will be vanilla flavour and the military ones will be chocolate :D. Its so exciting! x

I was thinking of making them myself, but to get all the ingredients for 90 cupcakes would come to over £100 alone! And I could never do that detailed decoration myself! x
