I'm currently living near Newcastle (where my fella is from), but i'm from Aberdeenshire in the north-east of Scotland. We are looking into venues in both areas to see which we like the best, although at the moment i would prefer to get married at home.
I have considered Mar Lodge, Craigivar Castle, Hilton Craigendarroch (which is going to be renovated so not available)...i was wondering if anyone had any good experiences at venues up in that area that they can share. I'm not really interested in Aberdeen itself.
