I've been for a few diamondtome microdermabrations and using the priori aha skincare range. My skin has honestly never been softer or clearer. It takes a few months to clear ur skin out completely but you look more radiant after the first treatment! It's not at all painful but leaves you slight red faced for about an hour after. I would definitely recommend it! Xx

I have awful skin but clinique anti blemish range has been like a godsend! I use it everyday and if I don't then it shows. It costs a little more than some cleansing ranges but worth its weight in gold xx

I use clinique 3 steps, and agree it costs more, but I also think it lasts MUCH longer than the cheaper brands xxx

From the inside!! Clean up your diet, drink lots of water, reduce the caffeine and eat lots of fresh fruit and veg. Take a womans vitamin supplement.
From the outside, make sure you moisturise everytime your face gets wet, and morning or night. My baby sister is a beauty therapist and she says if she could give any advice to women, it's moisturise at least twice daily preferably with something like the blue tub Nivea and don't wear make up every day so that your skin has time to breathe.

I've been told I have good skin. I use a combination of moisturisers as my skin is very dry. I use the light blue tub nivea as I find the dark blue is too thick and drags my skin and about 5 minutes after I also use neutrogena multi defence as it has spf that the other one doesn't . I drink lots of squash and water as I exercise a lot and (overshare sorry) sweat a lot which I think helps to clear out my pores as I have never had blackheads and rarely get other spots. I re-moisturise after exercising as the sweating and mopping up of sweat makes my face dry. I always try to get at least 8 hours sleep too. I also rarely wear make up of any kind unless I'm going out and even then, not much.
Different skin needs different treatment though but I think the water and sleep is pretty universal.

The drinking lots of water thing is a total myth about giving you good skin.....if you drink too much it can actually dehydrate you as you will not retain the water and be constantly running to the toilet. A good diet with lots of fresh fruit and veg and little or no processed foods will help.

I asked at a beauticians the other day as i've recently been getting break outs, i know it's down to hormones so really there is not much I can do but keep up a good skin care routine....cleanse, tone and moisturise!

Ooooo but I did recently purchase that BB cream/tinted moisturiser by Garnier which is good as it's not too heavy and means I can still wear make-up while my skin is throwing a hissy fit! Tis working so far!

Just wanted to bump to say that I have recently been trying something new out, and it seems to be working.

I read online about facial brushes, the review I saw was for the Clarisonic electric brush but I have been using a cheap one from the body shop. I heard a lot o good things so decided to try it out.

Oh my god. My skin is already better, and it's been about a week now since I've been using it. I use it once a day and my skin looks and feels better. Im still using Lush products (angels on bare skin, dream cream and breath of fresh air, the bohemian soap) and have been using the bohemian soap with the brush then following up with angels... I still have some little spots that are rapidly fading but this is apparently common as your skin 'purges' the bad stuff? My face is noticeably smoother, my makeup goes on easier as I am less oily in my t zone and I have dry areas on my chin, around my nose and between my eyebrows.. They are better now and less dry and flaky.

Loads of water and fresh fruit and veg.
Cleanse tone and moisturise thats my advice.
Iv got a really good.moisturiser i use occasionally on my face as its for my exzema and can be quite greasey but really softens the skin x x x
