Does anyone have some great hair tips on how to get luscious thick locks?
Over the years my hair seems to be falling out more. I still have a good amount of hair, but sometimes I feel it gets quite limp and oily. I want it to look healthy shiny and full on my big day .. oh and soft. Am I asking too much? haha It just really completes your look if you have great hair, so I figured I would start on prepping my hair now!
Is there any natural remedies, products or even hair treatments that have worked for anyone?
Thanks ladies!

I tend not to waste money on gimmicky and expensive hair treatments. Olive oil is great for adding shine - put it in dry hair and wrap it up in a towel whilst soaking in the bath. To rinse it out, apply shampoo before water then wash as normal. Coconut oil is great for itchy scalps, and can have an effect on hair loss. Another really fantastic stimulant for hair is mustard oil, but it's trickier to get hold of.
If only life could be one long tea break

have you tried changing your shampoo/conditioner? other than that maybe you could try clip in extensions then curl them for added volume, they have that bayliss root lift thing not sure if its any good though also a good blow dry can add volume xx

i have shoulder length hair and its not thick but not thin but im like you i want long curls on my wedding day so i have been looking into getting the micro loop hair extensions as they are not meant to ruin your hair either and last 3-6 months! ive found a lady who does them for 3/4 head for £150. Why not look into this?

I'd try changing your shampoo and conditioner. What do you use at the moment?
The greatest thing you'll ever learn
is just to love and be loved in return
Try a shampoo aimed at fine hair. Then I am using a conditioner from lush called H'Suan wen hua it is basically made from eggs, olive oil, bananas and more stuff that is REALLY good for your hair and all natural.
You could just use mayo though if you need a cheap remedy.

I love the Aussie series, especially the little sachet of hair treatments. For nice shiny hair I'd go for Moroccan oil, I have bleached my hair almost white and the stuff is a godsend for damaged hair.Argan oil works too if you are on a budget :) Vitamin B is supposed to be good too xx

Morrocan oil, I swear by it, it has done wonders for my hair, or argan oil, I started using Morrocan oil in Jan as I was bought it for my birthday and my hair is about 70% in better condition, Lee stafford do a heat treatment spray that has argan oil in it that you spray on to wet hair before you dry it and then again on to dry hair before you straighten it, i have been using that since i ran out of moroccon oil as it is expensive and its great xx

One product I swear by is Herbal essences beautiful ends serum. Its a cream you rub into your hair and ends after you wash your hair and then dry your hair normally. Since using my ends dont split and dont break off meaning my hair has grown so much too! its only about four pounds :)
Also for thick hair and volume invest in a good rounded brush and learn how to blow dry your hair from the roots properly :) xx

Thanks for all your suggestions ladies! Will deffo be looking into these options. Just one question, with the Moroccan oil when do you put it on your hair? Is it something that needs to be washed out or you can put on damp hair? xxx
