The royal wedding was wonderful, but I wouldn't copy any of their ideas for my wedding, each ceremony is personal and should stay that way

I really really love her dress, have always liked a bit of lace detail so might be using that as a guide when i start trying them on. I also like plain flowers with lots of foliage, but not just because she had them, and I think my MOH would LOVE Pippa's dress! To be honest, if I got her it, I could borrow it after ;-)

Yeah Pippa's dress was stunning. I wasn't so keen on the little ones dresses and flowers in their hair but the little girl made me laugh the way she had her hands over her ears. They were so adorable.
I've seen a pic on facebook where they are all on the balcony and the little girl is stood there with her hands over her ears as Kate has bent down just in front of Will and it looks like she is................... well you can guess. It made me giggle.
i think she looked beautiful, i nearly chose a lace dress so i am glad i picked the other one now x

I was worried because my dress is quite a similar neckline shape with the lace as well, and i have a similar veil - with the lace edge. Luckily my dress is not so a-line, and at least i don't have sleeves! and i think/ hope that by next year most of my friends and relatives will have forgotten Kates' dress. i'm just upset that now so many people are going to be inspired to have similar dresses mine won't be so unique anymore. i worry that my dress will be seen as just another lacey copy and won't be seen as chosen for suiting my personality :( Probably over thinking it but a bit disappointed. xx

Oh dont be disappointed Magic.... your dress sounds gorgeous!!! As you say it is not the same and so many dresses will have similar elements and your dress IS unique because of how it looks on you! 3 women could wear the same dress and they will all look different because the details of hair, jewellry even figure shape! x

I guess i just feel like all my guests will have already seen the dress before, i know my grandparents will love to compare it to Kates' dress (which they are delighted about because they didn't like it!- my nan loves to cause a fuss) but most other people (especially) h2b will have forgotten about the royal wedding by then! hopefully. xx

i wont be changing anything of mine, i thought that although her dress and the bridesmaids dresses were very nice, i thought everything lacked a bit of colour, but maybe thats what royals do :) x

ok so shellay has reminded me then of one thing we are doing (i didnt think we were having anything similar) is that despite bm dresses, everything is white. Oh well. I picked white flowers etc first lol. Not changing. I doubt anyone will notice though. As ryhope says, most ppl would have forgotten most of the details by then.
