I've given ourselves to may to decide on the venue, think the only other thing I need to book is DJ and possibly cars depending on the venue. Getting silk flowers to save pennies. also need to start thinking of photographers.

The good thing is that when you decide on your venue they may be able to suggest a decent dj, or even provide on :) I've heard good reports about Robert at Lush photography, and I love what our photographers done with other pics - alan snelling if you want to google him... I love looking through wedding photos :) x

Fitch- I graduated in 2008- seems such a long time ago now! I remember being so relieved when my dissertation got bound and handed in, now I wish I was back at uni. Do you have anything lined up for after uni? I went straight on to do my masters. x

Oh sorry I must have over-looked the 'was'! Definitely had enough of studying for now, I feel like its all I have other than my partner right now and I want to get back in touch with my interests and back to loving books! Hoping to get a low stress job for a while, something that I can come home and switch off from, after that I'm not sure, really enjoyed my work experience in the manuscripts of the NLS, and the Scottish Book Trust so we'll see what happens. Main plan is to get financially independent (loan and bursary will be sorely missed!) and have some me time again! what do you do now? x

Re Kaya, Barcelo Highland Hotel? I live really close to there, took my mum for a girly night just over a year ago its lovely! wish they'd hurry up and finish doing it up though! Thats us just handed in our dissertations on friday there, feel like a different person, its strange!
