We've booked our photographer/videographer and we've decided to have a marryoke!! I'd never heard of them before and looked them up on YOUtube and they are hilarious!! even funnier when we imagine which of our friends would take the lead roles. Just wondered if anyone else was having one and which song you were choosing?? I think we're having 'perfect day' so we can include most of our guests xx

I don't think we'd have time.. too many guests, and I was reading about one couple who did "that's how you know" and it took them ALL DAY, they only had time for the ceremony and the speeches!! Noo Thank You!! lol. And yeah I think you should be able to sing in them yourselves! x

Our Videographer is doing everything. We're choosing the guests who want to take part and he's doing it in a room after the first dance in the evening. We're only going to be taking a small part so won't be away from our guests long xxx

we've really looked into this! We're either gonna do an easy one on the day at the reception where the guests can join in OR... thinking of getting with my best buds and clipping together all the iconic moments from films and having some fun and play it after the speeches for the guests. Think 'you're the one that i want, leading into unchained melody into the lift (with help) from dirty dancing into h2b walking into our local in white suit and scooping me up (officer and gentleman). Our friend is a student videographer and has offered a freebie! lol

Our videographer suggested making one of these, and my first question, was how the heck do we fit that in! It's on our lift of things to look at doing as well as a 'four weddings' scoring piece with a few of the guests - just for a laugh! Fab....

We are doing a Marryoke!!! Eeeeek I'm so excited!! We'd never heard of it until we stumbled across it on internet when looking at first dance clips. It takes 2 hours and is filmed in the lull after the speeches and before the night do starts. I think it's a really fun way to create something to look back on for years to come. The guests should have had a few drinks by then and be relaxed and up for it, but people dont have to take part if they dont want to. I didnt like the idea of a 'formal' wedding video - being filmed all day scares me and plus it costs way too much - so a Marryoke is just perfect for us!! Now which song to have??? I quite like 'I've had the time of my life' from dirty dancing but the Glee version??xxx
