Hiya I'm an Army wife to be - we're not really involving the army in the wedding other than most of our guest list being squaddies lol I was thinking of having 'Help For Heroes' favours just because it's a cause close to my heart. My wedding isn't until 16th June 2012 but no Afghan tours between now an then! Wahoo!!!! Lol xxxx

Hello ... Yeah I know what you mean Is he or your guests who are squaddies wearing uniform??? I am having a slight forces style wedding the church is in the dockyard and my partner is wearing his uniform for the church service then changing in to his suit best of both worlds lol and all the ushers are navy so they are wearing their uniform ... The table names at the sit down meal are after ships however butterflies are really the big theme but in royal blue silver and white! My wedding is 28 July and unfortantly my army cousin can't come as his on afghan ;( I was going to get help forte heroes favours but my partner said nearly all his friends have the help the heros wristbands which was what I was going to get lol x x x

Awww thanks Hun ;) right now his away which I am finding pretty hard especially where he is! His in Libya! And the ship his on is permanently in the news! But just trying to concentrate on the wedding hehe ;) ibsee you like the mod guys haha x
I am a Army wife to be! Getting married in july 2013, aaages away but h2b has a tour next year to Afghan and we ant afford it this year.
H2b will wear his no1 uniform and best man his no2. I like the idea of help for heroes favours! H2b keeps saying we are having a BIG FAT SQUADDIE WEDDING!

Well gemma i`m still in the postion of being apart ..... Mr lala is working in sudan at the embassy so he is away for months on end
Hahaha yes that's ships always on the news ands on the papers been away since march ;( and not back till november however I did fly out to Malta to see him for five days which was lovely!! Hate him being away but that's what I sign up for marrying a matlow haha x

Well I am used to it as the navy usually have a deployment evey year fro usually four to six months but this is like eight months by the time he comes back in November originally he was ment to be back in aug then got extended till sept then October then November sucks big time but what cab you do? Thankfully next year once ship decommissions then he has a shore draft for two years so no more six eight month trips for two years ;) x

And we never really drank in Malta haha apart from the hotel stayed in the hotel most of the time, did bok jet ski and speed boat out though which was great ;) x

I'm a army wife to be getting married next year in july. H2b is wearing hes army no1s and so are the 2 best men and usher. Then it will be off to live in Germany :) I carnt wait xx

He will b drafted to north wood London but we keeping married quarters in Portsmouth as we both come from Portsmouth ;) and he will only b working in London two weeks out of four ;) x x

My H2b is due to be posted when he returns from Afghan next year and we as yet have no idea where it could be. I'm hoping not too far so he can get home at weekends as he does now. But i do realise this may not happen and like you said ,we know what we signed up for!

Thankfully usually if his not away or on duty because his based in Portsmouth and we live in Portsmouth his home every night, well let's hope he gets a nice draft If he doesn't you can always move with him in to married quarters??? X x

My H2B isn't wearing no1's he's wearing his kilt... Very sexy!!! Lol We're due a posting next year, hoping for somewhere up north so we're in the middle of mine and his family, just hate the hassle of moving but best get used to it lol xxx

Yes they are! Lol Best man is a Scot too and Usher is Welsh so we've got a Welsh Kilt too xx
