Hi there just wondering if you can help me again please,
I have a friend ho is doing a reading for us at the ceremony my question is do we get her a gift too or is it just bridesmaids/FG/ushers/bestman?
Not sure on this as i have never been to many weddings, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Heya :) I honestly think it's up to you. I tihnk it would be nice maybe as a little gesture, but then on the other hand being asked to do a reading is something pretty special anyway, and as long as she's thanked in the speech it will be fine :) H2b was best man for his brother and he didn't get a gift, but they paid for our hotel room that night. I was bridesmaid for h2b's sister and she did get us a gift... Don't know if that helps much but I think my point is that it's up to you, there are no hard and fast rules!

I did a reading for my brother and didn't get a present, you don't normally for readings as just normally the bridal party however it's your choice but don't think it's expected xxx

I don't know if this is going to sound rubbish but what about printing the reading out on a nice background and putting it in a frame??? You can present it to her with the other presents?? I would be thrilled to receive that if I did a reading as I'd always have a reminder of a special day :-)
