Hi, We were really wanting to get married at oldway mansion, but they are stopping weddings and we are not sure on a date. To be honest, I don't know if they are. But I was just wondering if anyone on here knew any other nice, reasonably priced, wedding venues in either torquay, paignton or totnes as I am really struggling to find some.

Hiya, I live in Paignton but am getting Dartmouth as am a Dartmouth then we going to the imperial hotel Torquay, it's amazing there, haven't they moved the weddings from old way to cocokington court in Torquay now, it's really nice there,

I heard oldway mansion is to be closed as theyre turning it into a hotel now.
Were having our reception at the Bancourt Hotel in Torquay! We chose them because of theyre prices! They are very reasonable and the ballroom were having is a good size too and it has a really nice big garden too!! The menu can be tailored to meet your requirements and budget too.
But we did look at the livermead cliff hotel - theyre new ballroom is GORGEOUS!!! (it worked out a bit more expensive then bancourt or we would of had it here!) You Have your own little garden bit with gazebo and right over looking the beach! In theyre wedding package they do say from £50per head! Dont go by these i emailed the wedding cor-ordinator and said our budget & i worked with him on prices that were better suited to our budget and got them down to £18 a head for 2 courses.
We also looked at the TLH resort in Torquay. Theyre wedding co-ordinator was so helpful and lovely. And all the hotels are pretty much joined and theyre's a numerous amount of function rooms to choose from! The only thing that put us off was no garden attached to the function rooms.
