Hi there, lots of wedding fairs etc on at the moment so look for end of season dresses etc, lots of ppl here have used the bay for accessories, decorations and children's outfits. In the new year there should be another change of season so look for bargains then, and pull favours wherever you can - I've got a friend volunteered to help me make my centrepieces, mum is doing the cake, brother is designing and printing the invites :-)

Have a look at the bargains tips thread - that might give you some ideas. And there are a lot of threads on making your own invites, decorations etc If theres anything specific you are looking for just ask as I am sure someone will help!
There are so many people out there who will tell you
what you can't do.
What you have to do is turn around and say, "watch me"!!

try and lay down what theme you want then how much the budget is and then a date you have in mind.
then go look for venues to get an idea of pricing. church or civil ceremony etc etc.
have a search for the brides check list thread that lays out what you should do first
