As the title suggests does anyone have any good tips for having a spray tan? I've been persuaded to go for a spray tan for my hen do this weekend. Trouble is I have never had one before and don't know what to expect and what I need to do before hand. I'm afraid I'm gonna turn orange and patchy and look awful! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Exfoliate and moisturise EVERYWHERE, especially elbows, knees and dry areas before you go! Maybe the night or day before :)

Yes i agree, pay more attention to elbows and knees etc. I would get it done the day before you go and i think that St Tropez is the best to use, i am in liverpool and not alot of salon's use St Tropez here and i dont know why because i think its the nicest xxx

I like St tropez too, it doesn't smell as weird as the other ones. Make sure you don't put any oily moisturisers on the actual day you are going for the spray tan! . . . and don't open your mouth when they are spraying, hee hee!!!

DO NOT MOISTURISE on the day of the spray tan. But you must exfoliate. And try to exfoliate and moisturise every day for at least 3 days before hand.

and after it is done, use a gentle moisturising shower gel and moisturise well after.

I agree exfoliate everywhere esp the knees and elbows that's what stops you looking orange. Also, wear cheap clear nail varnish and this sounds slightly urgh but pop a little bit down the sides of your nails so it looks messy because when the sprays finished and the colour develops you can nail varnish remover the orange bits off your fingers :)
