I have had a look for Sussex related threads and can't find anything current :(
As so many things wedding related are location based for example I don't want a car hire company based in Scotland... I was wondering if there are any local people around that want to share their local knowledge!
I am just starting out with planning and haven't made any definite plans at the moment, just gathering ideas at the moment :) Please feel free to add me as a friend also xxx

it could eb the people in that area area t work, busy or don't come on during the day x

Thanks lala bunni for the tip on friend finder, I will check that out :) I have 14 months but haven't got anything done yet :( Trying to get a free weekend to start having a look at some venues, my mum has made a list for us to start with so will see how that goes. Apart from that I really am still in the starting blocks, 14 months suddenly seems like a very short time! xxx

Crawley's not too far (apart from the massive roadworks with the 40mph speed limit!), I can drive up there if there are any shops you can recommend in the area :)

Hi, I can't find how to look for people in my area on the friend finder.... Starting to look for venues at the weekend but don't really know where to start, are there any locals that have any experience in this area? Anywhere to avoid or any must sees? xx

Not sure where abouts in Sussex you are but there are some real hidden gems. One in a place called East Grinstead called East Court and one in Lingfield called Red Barn. Both amazing places xx

I used to live in lancing, west sussex now in worthing, we found the chatsworth hotel which we are getting married at, extremely helpful :) or theres the windsor hotel in worthing as well. But if you wanted more brighton way there is the mecure hotel on the seafront thats supposed to be really good!

Thanks Hannah, will look up their websites :) Both our grandparents live Worthing way so we are looking at places around there. Have looked at Mercure but think it is a bit pricey for us :( xx

There are lots of pages on FB that may help any Sussex brides, I have been looking at The Sussex Bridal Planner, Sussex Weddings, and The Wedding Cloud Sussex....they have loads of suppliers offers and links for you to find local people. Maybe worth a look girlies....also I have been checking out loads of venues on FB, its amazing how much you can do on there if you like and join all the pages and groups :-)
Has anyone been to any good wedding fairs? x
