We have looked at the Wroxeter and Lordhill but they didnt really wow me so we are veiwing Albrighton Hall & Albright Hussey x

I looked around Albright Hussy as a friends sister married their and they had a fabulous time. Not quite right for what we wanted but a lovely venue. Let us know how you get on. x

I looked at Madeley Court Hotel, Lilleshall, Haugton House Hotel, Old Colehurst Mannor. I had a dream of Combermeere Abbey - the big glass house - but it was a bit pricey for us and we wanted to have somewhere most of our guests could stay - lots - almost all are travelling a mid - long distance!

Just to add, quite a few of the places we looked at - including the Lion Quays where we finally settled on - look totally different from the website to in the real world! So make sure you look around lots! The room i loved the most at Lion Quays rooms isn't even really pictured on their website - it was only that my mom had been there before that we went and looked!

We're getting married at the Methodist Church here in Ludlow. Which photographer are you meeting with? We're going with a really good guy who did our family photos last year

We're getting married in Malvern registry office and then the reception is at the worcester city cricket ground.
We've pretty much got everything booked up now.

I'm from shropshire, but I have moved and now live just on the stafforshire/shropshire border. My cosin got married at the Lion Quays last year. Such a beautiful place.

we're going with S&B. We're contacting both the brewery and the rugby club for the reception. Needed somewhere close by as we dont have cars and with a low budget cant afford them. theres a fair at the castle in april so hoping to get info there for extra things we may have overlooked.

It was nice. Lovely place. Shame she had loads of guests not turn up and others left early. So her big room looked empty.

Oh no MrsBroady that's awful!! Did she have the whole thing in the big room? We've booked to have our ceremony and meal in the conservatory and then move into the big room for just the evening. x
