My H2B has seen the dress, but he doesn't know it!! It was one of the ones I showed him online while I was looking, saying I quite like it, and as its named Beth (my name) thought i'd show him it. never thought it would be the one though, until I jokingly asked in the show, lets see the "beth" dress, and I fell in love with it. Tried it on, and it was perfect!!
I'm not picking mine up until a month before, and its going to be kept at my Mums I think, as we only live in a small flat, and don't think I could trust H2B not to look at it.

Is it just me, or as the counter goes down its all starting to become more real, everything all seems to be coming together, and its getting a bit scary! Scary in a good way though x

I just keep thinking if I tick too much off, i'll run out of things to do before the big day, and I'll get bored lol. bought my throwing bouquet yesterday, as I want to keep mine, not that i've even bought/made it yet x

I'm trying hard to leave some bits til nearer the time but it isn't working!

Just bought some plant pots - though quite vase-y ones - for the venue's windowsills. the ones I had free from work weren't doing it for me. Cost £12 but i'm happier now.

I still have the crafty stuff to do, make my ring cushion, decorate postbox and guest book, customize garter etc and will try leave though til July so I have some bits to do nearer the time! x

i want to crack on with the little bits that are left now so the favour buckets that need painting etc but i know that if i do them now they will just get crumbled and ruined in the run up, booooooooooooored lol.

just waiting for the RSVP's to come in and then i can make a start on the table plan etc

my new bridesmaid tried on her dress at the weekend and loved it, she said she's never had a clevage before and loves that the dress gives her B cups instead of A's lol bless her, she tried to run away with the shoes cos she loves them so much.

Got the jewellery for them at the weekend from BHS who had a 3 day 30% off sale so thats them done, just waiting for there hair accessories to come from Hong Kong and all done :-)

went to a wedding fayre at my hotel this weekend and sorted my make up out with the in house make up artist and we are staying over there the night before and having pamper treatments, dinner and breakfast all there and the make up lady said she can be there at 7.30 if she needs to be as she only lives next door to the hotel. so make up with be done before travelling down in my car to my mum's for my hair doing and to get my dress on, exciting :-D

Think we all feel a bit like that when we log on to here. Time seems to be going do fast and slow all at the same time if thats even possible!! The main thing I need to sort is my flowers. Paid a deposit to hold the date but just cant decide on what style of flowers I want. Theres so many to choose from!!

Know what you mean about favours Mrs Mann.. been wanting to do my tags for the miniatures but scared of them becoming damaged with there being 6 months to wait until we need them xx

Talking of painting signs.... I have bought our names in wooden letters for the mantelpiece in our main function room. We sign the register in front of it. CLARE & MARK. What colours to paint them?! Our theme colour is aqua blue. Not sure if all blue is too blue... So maybe off white, or silver. Just not gold. Or off white with the & in blue. Or the other way round!?

I am starting to feel really panicked yet I can't think of all that much left to do?!?! That doesn't make sense....

i would paint them silver to stay out in the photographs :-) with maybe blue dots on or something

I havnt been in to the florist since I bought my dress. Thats the next thing on my list Jill! Really stuck on whether to have a bouquet with hot pink flowers and the BMs have cream/ivory flowers on to have it the other way round. Dont want anything to big but nothing too small either! Im so indecisive at the moment over everything!

Mrs Mann.. ive made a to do list but it seems overly big so it scares me lol! Its just small things to do though now luckily :)

Smarties I reckon an off white too or a cream.. maybe a touch of glitter to make it a bit glam?

We sent our invites out on Sat and have already had rsvps back - no turning back now lol

Aww Nic how exciting! Cant wait until mine comes in. I'm a bit concerned though that I'm leaving my invites too late... I'm only sending out STD's this week, with invites to follow in a couple of months... has everyone sent their invites out already? x

We didnt send out stds so we are just sending out invites, we did them now to give people plenty of notice. I would agree with soon to be Mrs Mann, i'd probably be tempted to just go with invites now.

I'm really excited, going to take my jewellry and hair clip and hope they all go

If they forget about my wedding they will be in serious trouble lol

God I didnt even think about mistakes cutting down on the number of invites available although we're getting ours printed so should cut down on mistakes on that front, it'll just be putting them together that could cause problems! I do think 1 month, even 6 weeks, should be plenty for rsvp's, my venue dont need numbers until 2 weeks before so an rsvp date of 6 weeks before should leave 4 weeks to chase any stragglers x

I love the BHS accessories for the BM's and FG's! Our final numbers have to be in 2 months before which takes us to 1st of July as we get married on the 1st September. Scary when you think about these things!! Off in to town shortly to try and find some evening invitations. Cant believe how expensive they seem to be though!! Might just make my own if I cant find any that I like, not gonna buy them just for the sake of it!! xx

We haven't sent our invites yet either. My bridesmaids and I finished making them on Tuesday but I haven't printed the inserts yet as I'm unsure of what time to put on them! I'm hoping to get them sent soon though :)

I have so far bought some pretty flat pumps for walking (we're going to Vegas, San Fran, San Diego). I would like some pretty dresses and chinos too! Might treat myself on pay day! x

I just realised i bought a size 10 dress - i thought it was a 12 :D
I would like to lose another half a stone but think everything i bought would be ok if i did that
I had vouchers i had been saving up from b'day and xmas so in total it cost me £30, debs - i took advantage of the 20% off in debs

Im the same, i havent been good since xmas, I'm actually pretty happy at the mo with my size but would just like to give myself a bit of lee-way in case i put some weight back on
Although if the dress doesnt fit i may have to rethink my plan

Im a bit of a yoyo dieter too. I would like to lose a stone but id be happy to get married as I am. Looked at debs yesterday n chose our daughter flowergirl dress, tiara and dolly bag :) xx

Hmm I am definitely getting back on it next week. I felt so much better in Dec after losing a stone that now it's going back on it's making me feel a bit miserable. I'll go back to Zumba next week and that'll kick me off hopefully :-)

I am however getting a chinese tonight.... diet starts Monday! x
