1st September 2012 got venue booked, registrar booked, photographer booked, hair and make up booked, favours bought, bm dresses ordered, DJ booked, table centre pieces done, Candy table organised, photo booth booked, rings bought and invitations sorted. Just have shoes, jewellery and mens suits to organise. Hopefully thats it lol. My h2b thinks I OCD being so organised oops! just realised flowers need to be sorted must get that done then time to chill lol x
Oh honeymoon to Thailand is also booked xx

I'm getting married a year today and i have booked the registery office and that's it. In talks with my photographer about price and that's all. Can't even decide what colours to settle on. I don't speak wedding! I don't understand! Argh lol. On the other hand my 6 year old daughter has pictures drawn of how it's all apparently going to be. Maybe she will have to be chief wedding planner. A year today! That sounds so far, yet so near all at once!

i always thought a year was long enough to plan a wedding... now i'm not too sure!! starting to worry i won't get everything done and paid for in time!! ARGH!!!

with every day that passes, the budget seems to increase!!!!

lovely, i was gonna do save the date cards but since we have a smaller budget now and a small wedding im just gonna send out the invites a bit earlier x

i havent got anything bought yet and my date has moved forward to 31st august! i cant get anything for the wedding til next year cos i have 3 of my kids birthdays and xmas to pay for yet and carpeting the house next year! hmm wonder where the wedding will actually fit in! lol should i be panicking!

1st September in Liverpool! I've so far got the venue for the whole day, catering, registrar, photographer, DJ and chair covers. My brother has designed all the stationery and hopefully this time next month i'll have a dress/BM dress! Only got engaged last month, but i'm a fast mover ;-) (and big time impatient!) x

I have done a lot since my last post on here - florist and cake sorted, bm dresses sorted, hairdresser booked, underwear bought, been measured for my dress so thats ordered, got a few decorations.

Main things left to do are mens suits, favours, gifts, need to get invites printed and get a few decorations

Im not really an online buyer- i have a look online but like buying things in a shop!
I need to get flowergirl shoes - might need to get a new flower girl dress (we were given one that was unworn but not sure whether it will fit)

H2b booked honeymoon so thats sorted too

Now just need to save the money to pay for it all :s

I know i've been going deposit crazy and bought a couple of things in full with savings. Next year will be a very tight year! No more takeaways/drive thru trips for us! - which could be a good thing diet wise! Haha.

I know I like the idea if something goes wrong I can take it back to the shop and get it sorted there.

I need to hurry h2b up with Honeymoon! x

Hmm yeah I agree thast's annoying. Is the venue local? Go in! 'He who shouts loudest' and all that!

I know so am I, but at the same time you wouldn't believe how many hours i've spent looking at shoes online. If I found some soon, think of all the free time i'd have away from the computer! So maybe if it was all finished soon, i'd get my life back for a few months!

Honeymoon plan is Vegas, San Francisco, and maybe LA. But we'll see. Whatever he can sort I guess! I'm desperately trying to leave it, but it's hard when I know I could do it myself immediately! Where are you going? Or do you not know? x

Woo ladies almost 8 months!

In the last week I've bought my postbox, table confetti - well I'm actually having little turquoise buttons to match my theme and foam roses to go in fish bowls for the windowsills in the venue.

Exciting stuff! lol. Not urgent really but I couldn't wait once I had the ideas! Just flower girls outfits, gifts and honeymoon to go! x

Oh yes! We're expecting to collect ours any day now. I will want to wear it immediately! x

I ordered our men's cravats today. Picked a colour that the hire shop doesn't do so sourcing them separately. It's been a big stress finding someone who does a really close match so am happy it's finally done!

I have bought ribbon for the postbox. And the thank you sign to stick on it has been designed by my brother who is doing all our stationery. But not started doing it yet. To be honest a lot of the stuff i'd like to start putting together I can't because our cat would destroy it!

thats another thing lol lingerie i went to El Senza and they are closing down so i had a look at the outlet found the perfect purple satin pj set, little satin shorts and a night little satin cami top, lovely for the wedding night to sleep in :-D

we are having handmade hookmarks for the ladies with a small cadbury miniature and a scroll thanking them for joining us on our day, mens is a foam glider plane with small cadbury miniature and scroll thing.

all my bits n pieces are at my mum's in the spare room with a strict no dog rule so its handy for me to do little bits and just store them in there

we are going out suits the last weekend in feb as me and other half are off so we can go hunting to find the right suits.

I showed the flowergirls their dresses and they loved them i'm just going to wait for a while before i order them as i don't want them to have growth spurts i just have to order them early enough to get them altered as the youngest is short for her age and it may need taking up

Where you going on your honeymoon we are going to Tunisia for a week all inclusive

Ha Kimmie I am just too impatient. I want everything bought asap so the rest of this year I'm not making decisions and window shopping, just saving to pay off the balances. Paid so many deposits, so much more to go!

Ah your favours sound lovely. My wedding dress and glass fish bowls are at the MIL's house. Good idea, perhaps I can do my postbox after all!!!

I booked the suits and paid a deposit in Nov as the suit place we wanted had a really good offer on at a wedding fair. They have to choose them by the end of March but I don't think we pay til nearer the time.

That's why i'm waiting on flower girls too. They're only 2 at the moment and even though there's only 3 months between them they are totally different heights and sizes now so no idea what size they'll be in Sept.

We're going to Las Vegas, San Francisco and San Diego! All inclusive sounds fab and it'll be perfect in Sept as kids should be back in school :-p x

I've done all my planning in just under 3 months and I wasn't that quick so deffo do-able! x

The plannings easy, its the saving of the cash that isnt lol xx

we are slowly paying off the venue first in bits, then we will be putting the rest into savings as it all then has to be paid in the run up to the wedding

oh and i sent out save the dates a fwe months ago :)

Bought the flowers for the centre pieces yesterday and got them all arranged and safely boxed up, also got 4 fish bowls from b&m bargains for £2.99 each for the sweet buffet so that's two things ticked off the list :-D

I know tell me about it nic. Its scary!! Bought our stationary today for the invitations which we are going to start next week!! Exciting!! xxx

Im going through my wedding mags and pulling out ideas - i just have too many lol
We sent our order to the printers so should have invites by next weekend :)
