Yup! Not being done in a shop, but a lady near me who I took it to. She only has to hem the front up an inch and put a loop and button on for bustle so she said it'll be ready Monday :-) She's going on holiday early July so she wanted it done before she goes.
My mil took my pics which is why they're not clear! They're better on my phone than comp! Will get the lady to take them on Mon.

Just had a reply from my best friend in Botswana - she can't make the wedding, flights alone are going to cost the equivalent to nearly £4000. I always knew it would be unlikely that she would make it but it has still made me alittle sad.

they were done at Kirkstall Abbey which is just at the bottom of the valley from where my mum lives. we had to use our bodies to hide the vans that were there for a wedding, we had our coats on as it was 9am and freeeeeeezing! i just noticed that we are matching colours as well hahaha and matching duffle coats, oooooops lol

Morning all - i'm feeling quite excited today but also in a slight panic Its pay day, budget is well on track (which means i can buy more things I have no idea what to do with), my fitting is on sat and hen next weekend :)

Well the suggested song is the Rod Stewart version but it's the same lyrics so if that's ok then the original must be. Our friends who got married 3 weeks ago had the Beach Boys - Wouldn't it be nice, which has 'pray' in it and they had no problems.

Oops got caught up with the rac man so didnt reply - I was fine, simple problem to sort but i also needed 2 tyres, so cost £320 - not exactly what I needed but put it on my credit card so should be ok as have enough money for my share of the wedding this month, was just hoping to have a bit extra for honeymoon/extra things i want to buy
The registrar said the song is fine (phew), they asked the context of the word and were happy it has no religious connotations, I was worried as I have heard some registrars wont allow instrumental versions of songs with words like that :s

It seems to be taking it a bit far if some wont even have an instrumental of a song with 'religious' words in - fair enough no instrumental hymns but ffs you're not asking anyone to start blessing you! Glad your problems resolved with the car. We've had a few issues lately - my ghds packed in (mid-straightening sesh I might add), TV in the bedroom has packed in and our fridge and cooker seem to be on their road out... hopefully they'll hang on in there until after the wedding x

Ah that's so annoying. Hate unexpected bills! We haven't had a hot tap in our kitchen for about 3 months because we keep putting off buying one as I resent paying for it! It'll be £50 which isn't gonna break the bank I know, but still £50 I'd rather put towards the wedding!
Oooh 9 weeks tomorrow as well that's single figures! And wow 2 months! I can vividly remember new years day and getting excited at 8 months as if it was yesterday!

we are going to santon in cumbria its his uncle's 50th so we are camping and having a meal :-) i haven't been camping since i was 18 at a festival not looking forward to my hair being a mess and its safe to say i purchased a waterproof coat last night haha just in case

Wedding yesterday was lovely, I felt like an imposter at first seeing as I didnt know anyone other than the friend I was there with but the whole wedding feel soon got me past that. Bride was beautiful and radiant, beaming all day which was really nice. All I could think of was my own wedding though lol x

I have to stop spending money :s Spent a fortune in boots today, but did get my wedding perfume and some aftershave for h2b, treated myself and h2b to some nice smellies to use around the wedding, and some good quality hair products as I usually just go for whats on offer

Nice Nic :) I could spend loads in boots given the opportunity :) I visited a friend and we took the kids to a softplay... they were running about holding hands, it was the sweetest! Esp nice as my friends wee girl is my flower girl so hopefully get some nice pics of them like that at the wedding! Been to body pump then the gym today, continuing the war against my flab x

well its safe to say that this weekend was ...... wet!got very very wet yesterday while trying to get the tent down and all the stuff in the car urgh!!! its not put us off camping though we went and spent £160 on a tent yesterday :-)

I had a crappy wedding dream last night, my dress was delivered to me on my wedding day and I didnt know whether or not it would fit until just before we were due to get married. My bm dresses hadnt been delivered at all so we were running about trying to sort that out when I realised it was 14:40 and the other couple due in after us would now be getting married so we'd missed the slot :( not nice! On a brighter note - I'm off to give notice today! x

I kinda liked roughing it for a couple of days dunno if i could to it for anymore of a couple of days though, my mum is on about going away in august for 4 days i just looked at her and said no way! a weekend away is about all i can handle especially when it will only be a few weeks before the wedding.
I'll go to a different site though as you had to pay for the shower and also the hair dryer so i couldn't straighten my hair :-( but luckily i had a beanie hat and hairbands with me so it wasn't too bad

Aww cute flower girl! One of my pouted the whole time she tried hers on. Really unimpressed. Hopefully she'll be more excited when everyone's making a fuss of her on the day!

Got my dress back today, all altered! Managed to lose another 2lb too :-) Didn't take any pics, couldn't be bothered to take camera! Looked really nice though.
I went to my friends hen do on Sat. Was fab but her bm was a complete cow who refused to smile, dance or get involved full stop and left early. She made the hen cry so we were all really annoyed. She then left the appts the next morning without saying goodbye. Grr.
I've had my oldest friend give me a really lame excuse about my hen which upset me yesterday but over it now. Plenty of other girls going. She's also annoying me re her plus one who may or may not be able to come, she doesn't know. Well the rsvp date was yesterday so decide! Ugh!

hen do's bring out the worst in some people cos they aren't the centre of attention
I bought my young bridesmaids shoes today, i've bought them in the bigger sizes that there mum said as she said we can always pack them out rather than them being too small

and a bargain at £6 for the small ones and £7 for the bigger ones :-) really happy just hope they aren't too white against the dresses as they are ivory and the shoes are white but i think the dresses are really pale ivory so hopefully it will be okay and the dresses are long enough that they nearly touch there toes anyway so they will be covered (hopefully). another bonus is that i didn't pay for them as Natwest refunded some lost interest on my account it was only £20 but it paid for the shoes so its all good. got them from the world of shoes place which i didn't expect to find anything suitable at just got to wait for them to arrive now

Smarties I hate that hun, why cant people think about someone other than themselves for just a day? And as for your friend to-ing and fro-ing - how irritating! I'll be harrassing the life out of people when my rsvp date is near. I've sent off an evening invite to the guest who was going to be invited to the day but decided they couldnt make the ceremony although they would be there for the jolly after it!?!? Anyhow, she's not said to me directly, so I've sent the invite with a note saying that although I'd heard they cant make it to the ceremony, I'd still love them to come to the evening reception, starting at 7:30... what do you think? Point made? xx

I had someone pull out of my hen on sat, it didnt help that they rang whilst i was out with my mum at the fitting - put me in a bad mood and i did have a complete bridezilla moment. Dont think it helps that they cant come to the wedding as well but were going to come to the hen but now have pulled out of that too :( My major downer was that they got married last year and I went to a lot of effort for her hen and wedding but once they were married they dont really care about us anymore (im being over dramatic now arent i)
