I have asked one of h2b's friend's mum who makes cake to make him one for his stag do. She's a bit saucy so I know I could ask for something bit rude! She asked what design I wanted. 'Errrr b**bs?' So no idea what it'll look like but little surprise for him!

It's ok ladies, they think it's a faulty alarm, rac gave me the ok to drive, so I made it, 5 hours late but having a grat time :)

Ooh very good! I got a thank you gift today too. And as I'm stealing Nic's idea of an olive tree for parents I went to price them up in local garden centre. Will get them after payday.
I also made up a locket with photos of my grandads to go around my bouquet.

Nah I bought a really cheap one off the bay, couple of quid. It's pretty but really flimsy. It'll do unless I see a better one resonably priced. I want to buy a decent locket for myself but don't want to wear it on the day in case it gets lost or broken.

Morning ladies, how are we all? Picked up my beautiful dress yesterday, cant stop looking at it! Gonna stop touching it though as I've already pulled a bit of the beading at the bottom while trying to put it back into the bag. When I arrived at the shop I was so focused on my dress that I didnt see my gorgeous bridesmaids dresses hanging behind it! How exciting! So all of my beautiful dresses are now upstairs... happy Jill! x

we didn't get to hear our Banns to be read :-( we were sooooo busy running round to get bridesmaids shoes that fit as my bargain bridesmaids shoes were faaaaaaaaaar too big! went all the way into Bradford then had to go all the way to the other side of Leeds as they were all damaged got them but i have no idea if they fit them or not not got up there yet.
8 weeks to go!!!! eeek!
Got the meeting with the hotel tonight and then slimming world as well so busy busy when i finish work tonight, plus i'm going to the yorkshire show with work for two days so i can try and do a bit of planning while i'm there as i don't think it will be that busy seeing as its supposed to rain the whole time

Ah bet that was nice Fiona! I remember hearing some read when we went to a Christening and though I had no idea who they were I got all excited for them!
Ooh exciting! I might change some of my non legal things in advance so it's not such a big effort afterwards. Websites I use, blood service, magazine subscription etc. Which people need to see the marriage certificate and which can you just tell? Banks, utilities etc need certificate but what about dentist/doctors etc?

you need to change everything that has your name on haha, there is a thread that i bumped for someone last week with them all on, don't forget inland revenue, mortgage, rental agreements etc etc

Ah shame about the shoes! I have found a pair in Mat a lan that are reasonable and I'm going to get the flower girls (well with the mums!) to go there and try them on and buy them and I'll pay them back!

I've seen the list but don't know who needs to see a certificate and who doesn't? I'll start with the obvious ones and then work out the rest later! I have subscribed to so many things!
Ah they have them in my local one in the girls' sizes. If I can't get them though I can get to world of shoes! The ones I really like are in Debs but I don't want to spend much on them!

I know too exp for me. Not my kids, so i won't see the shoes again! I got the dresses in there in the sale for £25 each and they're gorgeous, but can't pay £20 for shoes.

hahahaha most stores only got them on thursday thankfully so most sizes are available :-) i went to three different stores who all had different ones in tho some had the small ones but no bigger ones and vice versa, i had to write a review it would be rude not to :-)

Afternoon all - I am back Had a thoroughly wonderful time, and feeling really sad now it is over. My friends were all fantastic and my BMs went to so much effort :) Trying to keep myself busy til h2b comes home, cant wait to see him later

I got there at about 8pm on Fri (should have been there half 3 - 4), everyone waited for me before they had a drink so we had a few drinks and a buffet and wine, played mr &mrs and pin the willy on the man which everyone really got into.
Then on the sat we had archery booked, then had a bit of lunch and went to the swimming pool, which was amazing with water slides, rapids and a wave pool. We were there most of the afternoon. We had a lovely dinner then a short dance (disco shut at 12) then went back for a few drinks a few more games and I stayed up chatting til 3am with one of my BMs. Yesterday most people went home after we had breakfastr together but a few of us went for a walk then watched the tennis. Only me and my moh stayed last night so we had dinner and a nice evening together
Unfortunately as i closed my car boot today, I hit my face and have a really deep cut across my nose which I hope wont scar :(

oooooo ouch!!! i banged my car door into my eyebrow once and that hurt i can tell ya, went right down to the bone but luckily i had some medical glue at home so i just glue it shut and you can't even see where it was

Hi ladies. not been on for a while.. had an awful day. H2B got made redundant this morning but somehow landed another job this afternoon lol!! 7 weeks till the big day and its just hit me that theres still a few jobs need doing. Hope this weather changes soon xx
