Aww I was very good yesterday - didnt go out after all, sat out the back garden but had the factor 30 on all day so no burn here. I'm paranoid about it, esp as I got badly burnt when I was a teenager (stupidly thought I'd put baby oil on!?!), now I'm probably too careful x

i was only walking the dog to the shop and back was out for like 10 mins hahaha darn my pale skin i normally burn on my shoulders and chest but as i have a strapless dress i'm being careful as i don't want strap marks not bothered about my legs as i never get any colour on them normally

I was naughty on saturday i had a magnum - 13 syns so no martini that night for me then last night i had a martini and got a little bad of galaxy bites and sat and ate them in like two mouthfuls - 14 syns so i tried to be as good as i could, we'll see how good tonight at slimming world :-S

I went internet free this weekend more or less! Just spent the whole time gardening/in the garden on the sun lounger! I have some colour! Little bit of burn on my back where I missed with the cream otherwise ok! Jill I wear Factor 30 or even 50 sometimes as I am pale and auburn so burn v easily. Though I do go brown if I tan gradually and carefully.
Diet write off for me too. Wine on Friday. Chippy on Sat, McFlurry on Sun. Back on it today though. walked to work in record time!
Only wedding update for me this weekend was the h2b got his shoes and I got colouring books and pencils for the flower girls.
95 days!

Smarties its the worst isnt it? I've got dark hair but you can see auburn through it in the summer and my skin is a reflection of that. If only I could get my freckle cover all over - that'd be lovely :)
I'm just back from my final interview for the job I was telling you all about and I've got the job! The woman who interviewed me (who will be my boss) seemed almost as excited as me to be saying it lol and she's not got a problem with me taking 3 & a half weeks for the wedding/honeymoon :) her words to me were 'jesus christ it's not like you get married every day - that will not be a problem at all'... yay! x

Yeah mine's dark but in the light it's so red! And I lighten it sometimes for a change so then I look even more red. I like it, but means skin is very sensitive.

Dont worry Jill, Mine was a complete write off Started ok, had a wrap and curly fries for lunch (not too bad) then i had a double ice cream waffle cone, a whole bag of kettle chips, a good 4 or 5 slices of pizza, chicken goujons, gu rocky road pieces and lots and lots of alcohol :s
Back on the salad today :)

Thanks Nic, I start in just under 2 weeks, the hours are just so much more suitable and my new boss seems absolutely lovely... hopefully she'll be just as lovely when I'm working for her!

Grr. I paid our final fees just before the increase. You should get it at the rate at when you booked I think. I have a meeting with the registrar one month before to confirm vows/readings/music etc.
I sold a dress on the bay at the weekend so I can get confetti now.
I haven't thought about vows. Should do really. Was just going to go with the ones they supplied, but not sure whether to write our own.

oooooooo congrats on the job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! really pleased for you! our photographer has put his prices up by £200 since we booked and i sent him an email asking him if we paid the price at time of deposit and he said he wouldn't dream of adding on the additional cost as we booked at a different price
unfortunately i don't think that works with churches etc, ours is being a right pain in the bum at the moment we keep ringing them to arrange a meeting to go over the ceremony etc and they never return OH's calls!!! getting very cross now!!!
On a lighter note.......................3.5lbs off this week and it would have been more if i weren't having volvic with strawberry everyday that turns out to be 12syns a bottle!!!!! eeeeeek! switched to sugar free which is syn free

We have to pay the increase doesn't matter if you pay in full at the time of booking- its in the contract with the registrar :(

we are decorating at the moment so wedding is on the back burner, i have lots of parcels coming today tho for the hen do, i said i would get the sashes and the gift bags as i have an ebay account and they are so much cheaper on there I need to go to asda to get the signs printed to go on the front but then i thought about it and decided to just print them at home on normal paper. My chief has asked for help with it as she is struggling with uni and placement and the fact that her placement have offered her a summer position means she'll be working full time like me so we are doing it together :-)

Morning! Oh no, can you change the shoes or would the bigger size be too big?
I am visiting family in Wales but my dad has left a practice tier of my cake down there for me (he was there last wkend) and i'm going to have a go at decorating it with some of the sugar buttons i've made. See how easily they stick etc. Then i'm going to eat it. Ha no, I can't eat it til after my dress fitting on 11th! But then I will eat it. All of it :-)
I also finally got a pink dress for my hen do (theme is hot pink)! Have been looking for ages but there was nothing I liked out there. I've already bought two and taken them back! Argh!

Yeah I'm the same Mrs Mann. I've bought loads of bits on ebay - gift bags, sashes, goodies etc as my bm lives in switzerland and it's just easier. Plus i'm happy to buy it as I don't want her to pay for everything. They're my mates after all!

I think we aren't going to mad with the hen party stuff as we are going to centre parts and technically they ban hen parties
I have never bought shoes online before- they at from debs though so will try taking them in and getting next size up I got them on their discount day so if they don't have them in the shop I will have to pay the full price! I'm really struggling with these blinking shoes!

Ahh. I got stung in Debs once by returning and having to pay the extra grr.
We're not going to go too mad. I don't like to dress up but everyone wants a sash so we'll at least do that for the meal and cocktail making, then afterwards i'm sure they'll come off!

I'm kinda nervous about mine. I have 21 people coming and most don't know each other. Also I am massively shy and hate focus on me. I never have bday parties etc. Worried about the wedding for same reasons, but least I'm with h2b then. Hen do is a bit daunting if i'm honest. I picked my favourite restaurant and my favourite bar so least i'm not out of my comfort zone!

Diets hmm. I have stayed the same for ages. Which is actually a good thing seeing as I haven't been that good diet wise and haven't done that much exercise. It's either too hot, or raining!

Morning girls! My diets failing miserably, I'm now officially down to 3 months so really need to get focused but its just not happening :(
My shift manager has thrown a spanner in the works on the new job front too, albeit a good one - he's suggested changes he's planning to make and a position he'd move me into BUT it all depends on the outcome of a review happening just now in the department. My team leader also told me of a position they'd discussed me doing prior to me handing in my noticea secondment of sorts - a temporary promotion while a team leader is away with the army... what do I do? I think that my shift manager showing some belief in me has swayed my decision but at the same time, if they dont come through I'm stuck in the same job, with the same rubbish hours complaining about the same things only worse as I'll have passed up what looks like a great job... it's causing unnecessary eating! x

Job wise, obviously it's up to you, but i'd seriously consider the new job. The risk is there of you being stuck in a job you hate if things don't work out. And you might always regret not taking the new one.
Dress - yay!
I've just been chatting to a girl in work who got married last Oct and I was moaning that I haven't lost as much as I wanted to in time for my first fitting and she said it'd be fine. So hoping can work something out so I get measured again in a month and will have hopefully lost more by then!
