It's amazing how well you can do when you have something to aim for! It feels like we've got loads still to pay, we've paid alot but we're waiting for savings to mature in August before clearing balances... looking forward to that being done but at least we know the money's there and guaranteed, I'd just feel better about it if we were all paid now x

I remember a couple of years ago, we bought our house and bil was getting married and they spent same on their wedding as we did on our house deposit and I said 'oh i'd never do that, I just want a small gathering in a village hall with a buffet'. How things changed!!!

I think we should have enough for everything by the time we need to pay for it - we were going to have some left over but thats almost all been used :s

Heey, looking at everyone that has everthing ready is freaking me out slightly lol! We booked our wedding as a cancellation in april so not had that long to sort everything. Got the dress and shoes, bridesmaids dresses, mother of the bride outfit & hat, photographer, cake, chair covers decorations and favours, done the invites and are posting them at the moment, flowers, tiara, had one hair trial but i think i want something different. The guys have no suits yet (should be sorted friday hopefully). and in the middle of this we are trying to move house lol and have only just got back from a holiday to turkey lol. xx

i've done my napkin rings and post box :-) along with my bouquet which i'm now happy with yay!!!!!!
venue paid off and they have re decorated the room and it looks so much nicer (not sure if i mentioned that before)

oh yea!!! my OH got an amazing new job that comes with company car so that means i get his car now so i'm no longer car-less!!!! WOOT!!!! its also a better basic wage and still has commission on top!!!! glad he got it he really hated his old job and only stayed there to the wedding would be paid off bless him

I did nothing wedding related at all. Got a couple of rsvps back. Think i've now had about a third of the days back. In 3 weeks. They've got til 1st July so no rush, but it's annoying waiting. To be fair we haven't delivered about 14 people's invites yet as that's h2b's job....

haha i've got 4 days invites left to come back and loooooooooooads of evening ones plus two i havent delivered! one i haven't even printed yet as my printer has no ink and the other one has been in the bedroom for aaaaaaaaaages as OH is supposed to get the address as we were going to hand deliver it but didn't get round to it

thanks he's so excited and he's taken his two weeks holiday so we can get our room decorated seeing as he ruined it by doing a colour match in the middle of the wall that doesn't actually match (GRRRR!)
he told his manager and his area manager yesterday when he handed his notice in and they tried to talk him out of leaving!!!!! that he will be management in 6 months blah blah blah, they told him that 3 years ago when he first joined!

well said Fiona. That's what I need to hear too. Last night after having a ww pizza and keeping well within my points all day I went crazy and had crisps, half a mars bar, half a bread roll, some of h2b's curry etc etc. I wasn't even hungry, just wanted his food! So I went for a 45 min powerwalk to try and make up for it. Also walked 40 mins to work today to make up for the wine i'm having tonight!
I'm feeling a bit bored at the moment. On a bit of a downer, don't feel excited at all! Anyone else feeling like this or is it just me!?

i'm a bit like that as my other half is more bothered about decorating than doing the favour buckets and mr and mrs sign so it just makes me feel crappy and like he ain't bothered
i've been good having salads for lunch and had an omlette and salad last night but for lunch today its hot dogs in baguettes as other half is at home eeeep and enchilladas for tea might have to have them with salad to make up for up
No booze tho as its too many calories!

i make them from scratch so they are a tad healthier and i use turkey which is a better meat than chicken :-) i'll take a picture of my master pieces just for you when i cook them tonight :-)

I'm feeling better already. Think i've just had a bad few days. Felt a bit miserable and stressy.
Seeing some friends tonight and having a date night with h2b on sat so think i'll be in a better mood soon!
Good luck for SW. I need to buckle down a bit. I've not been very good this week and not done much exercise either. Next three weeks I have to be extra extra good!

we're going to a big wedding fair sale on 10th june so we are going to try and get all the final few bits and pieces like gifts while we are there
my OH's parents have gone away and left me with there dogs to look after as normal but everytime they go away something goes wrong with one of their pets and true to form they flew yesterday and one of them has gone lame -_-

I ordered them from ebay. they said est delivery 23rd may. I messaged them to see if they had been posted and i was told that they had printed the outsides and were doing the insides this week then posting them.

both my day and evening invites went out the end of february with an RSVP of end of june, sent them out that early to make sure no-one booked holidays even though i've sent them save the dates as i know what they are all like

our dog is alright he had a sprained knee and seems to be back to himself after feeling very sorry for himself last night after the trip to the vets

I sent my day invites about a month ago and my evening ones are going as and when we see people as they are all hand delivered ones. Our rsvp date is 1st July. Prob had a third back so far.
I sent stds at xmas so everyone knows the date but I just got sick of people asking about which hotels, how to get there, what time is the ceremony etc etc so sent them earlier than I had planned to.
