My dress is demetrios sposabella 4277 it has lace work with crystals and pearls at the front. i was told by the lady that it would have to shortened from the waist as they cant do it from the bottom. wonder if that's why it cost so much .

my bridal shop charges £150 for alterations no matter what they are so £75 ain't bad at all

erm have you tried primarni and high street shops..................oooooooooooo matalan had flowergirl shoes with socks next to them when i went in try there!

how old are they? i've found some but they are for little flowergirls

Im supposed to be having my first dress fitting on Sat but have had a text from the seamstress saying she would like to go camping due to the nice weather, would I mind rearranging? I replied asking when to? no answer... So I sent a nother message today saying when can I rearrange the fitting as I would like it sooner rather than later and don't have any free weekends left. MIL has left here a voicemail re her outfit and again no reply!!! My dress is at MIL's house as I bougt it as an end of line and this lady has never even seen it. Im sure it will be fine Im just annoyed!

I'd be annoyed too fiona. But I wouldn't worry time wise. I bought mine off the peg and took it to a seamstress and she had it done in less than a week.

Plans for weekend? I have no plans except going to the pizza place h2b went on his stag that he really loved and then on to Revolution to use up the leftover cocktail vouchers from my hen. It's like a mini hag/sten do! Other than that I'm not leaving the house or getting dressed. Desperately need a chill out weekend.

Oh the hen will be fun :-) I love it when h2b goes away for a night or so (he barely ever goes away for long). I like being able to tidy the house and it stay that way for a few hours just for me! And I get the tv!

I'm getting excited about being able to do stuff and buy stuff that isn't wedding related. It's the main reason I want the wedding over, feel really constricted by what we can afford at the moment, turning down nights out/meals/day trips etc. Haven't felt very sociable recently!

same here i wasn't prepared for the hot spell in May so i had to dig it all out of my suitcase, i might sort through that tomorrow as well and make a list of what i have forgotten

I'm the same as you smarties i love it when my H2B goes out or even on the rare occasions when he stays a way for the night. its just so satisfying to see the house in the morning the same as you left it when you went to bed LOL

This weekend I'm off to have a meeting with our venue :-)
I have brought a few thing for honeymoon but need a few more bits def need a couple of swimming costumes tried to get a few in the next sale but came out with only a couple of things daughter came out with 2 big bag fulls so she is covered !!

i'm trying to be good it can just be difficult at times but i am trying my hardest i want my dress now to see what i look like and if i hate myself in it then i will work my butt off just want that initial trying on to know

Hi ladies i need some advice. I have been on the bay of e and found a wishing well on monday that was up for auction there was no bids on this item. i contacted the seller as it was collection only and asked her if there was a buy it now price. she replied saying yes can have it for £30 couple of emails on Monday and tuesday arranging day for collection which is 4.8.12 as she couldn't do this weekend, so we have aranged date but she has still yet to give me address or contact number.
on wednesday i sent her an message through the bay asking her to remove listing as was still up for auction at this point still no bids. she relied saying she only has ebay on mobile and would do it a soon as she gets home and also send me contact details. I look on the bay last night there are now bids on the item up to £25 and she not taken the listing down. sent her another e mail last night asking her to take down the listing before it gets to late and she cant stop the auction . .she has not replied.
Should I bid on the item my self and then tell her i want it for the agreed amount of £30 or get my H2B to bid on the item and then when he wins it say that he only bided on it so she wouldn't have to explain to another person that she had already agreed to sell item to someone ells and this way at least we can live positive feed back for her or can you lovely ladies come up with another way
I have the feeling that she is trying it on and if it goes of £30 she will never contact me but if it goes for less then she will. very naughty of her and i dont want her to get away with it .

Even though she's agreed to it I don't think she'd be in trouble with ebay because technically you're not meant to make deals off site even though everyone does etc. Would you be prepared to pay more than £30? I'd get h2b to bid and then decide whether you're willing to pay what he wins it for. But then that might not be the best solution. Will let you know my sneaky h2b's ideas.

We lost an auction once so he contacted the seller and said if I was to give you the same amount cash in hand this afternoon would you sell it to me? And they did, so the auction winner didn't actually get it! I'd have been gutted if it was me on the other end though!
