oooooooo sounds like my kind of shop hahaha, i ordered my table plan print last night do i should have that by the end of the week, we have paid our contribuition of the cake off too and the bonus is we only need £366 to pay everything off and we have two paydays to do it with!!! yay!

my post box has been done for a while and is currently being used as a storage box for my bouquet as its too big for the other box with my other flowers in haha

i wrapped it in a black bag put the lid on to hold the bag in place then put another one on over the lid and its held up really well :-)

we are hoping for money from the wedding for honeymoon but most of it will be out wages i think

most of it will go into savings but some will come on honeymoon with us, we are only going for a week and its all inclusive so we don't need a lot

just got an email from the printers they have printed my table plan and it has been dispatched :-D can't wait to see it

Hen do sounds like good fun! It's mine on sat. Getting excited now. Picking my bm up from airport then getting nails done tomorrow. Then 6 others are arriving to stay at my house by sat night. Shopping sat am. Then 19 of us going for meal and cocktail making. Should be a giggle. I'm still worrying though!

I got my gift bags from baskets in the country and a few long boxes which i'm going to cut in half so that the buttonholes can go to jon's and the one's for my house can be kept in a smaller box (thinking ahead)

my mother has bought yet another hat!!!! so thats 3 hat/fascinators and 2 outfits, she also wants to take her outfit back to get a bigger size (which they won't have as it was an end of the line sale when we bought it and it was the only one) its only because her b00bs apparantly don't fit which isn't the case its the fact she lost loads of weight and then has started to pile it back on as she has got lazy and is eating everything she shouldnt

My weekend was good, eventually got my married name passport away, absolute nightmare as it's also my first passport AND I was applying for my sons at the same time. So applying for mine in my married name but having his filled in with my current name... hellish! But done thank god. How was yours? I'm off for my hair and makeup trial this Saturday... tad excited about that x

i refused to renew my passport just because i've changed my name because i have to pay £90 for the privalige and it doesn't get renewed they keep the same expiry so as long as i book my hols in my maiden name for the next 5 years i'm fine. i told my holiday company i was doing this and they said its fine most brides do it as its another load of cash to find just before the wedding.

Mum has been told she is not swapping the outfit she just needs to lose some inches off her busy and back

on a plus note i managed to get into my size 16 trousers for work!!! i refused to throw them out as i only wore them once, go me! flabelos is certainly paying off on the inches front and slimming work seems to be paying off on the fat front, just want my dress now to see if i need to up my game or not :-S

I'm going out on saturday night with some girlies for cocktails as i need to chill the hell out! so i'm doing some wedding stuff during the day before i go out

I'm keeping my passport in my maiden name it it expires. It's got 5 years left. Also i've done some good travelling in last two years (India, Mauritius) and I want to keep my stamps! haha!

One other thing I learned this weekend is that I don't like Shellac nails. I got them done on Fri for hen, but picked it all off last night! I felt constricted and didn't like them. Silly but meh. Least I know for the wedding to just get a polish.

Ah it was brilliant. It was one of those nights where nothing went wrong, no one got too drunk, nobody's feet hurt, no trouble at all. Went home merry but not wasted and woke up with only a little hangover!

The girl in black is h2b's sil. We don't really get on. She said during the meal when my friend asked her about her hen do 'I didn't pick a theme because I thought it was really really unfair to make people fork out for something new'. Luckily I didn't hear that but my friend was fuming. Why would you say that within earshot of the bride at a themed hen do!? My bm had said beforehand wear as much or as little as you like. Ugh. She left at 11pm and took my mil with her, who really wanted to stay! She didn't bother me really but some of my friends wanted to knock her out!

I know, she's the most awkward girl I've ever met. We've never really got on, she has some really insecurities and is very jealous of how well I get on with the inlaws, but that's her problem not mine. I've always made an effort with her and to be honest she's actually been really good for the last two years. Never mind, I barely see her so not a big deal.

I feel so relieved it's over. I can really start thinking about wedding now :-)

I haven't had mine its on the 4th, Im looking forward to it but am alittle nervous. Im glad you all seem to have had good ones because there seems to be quite a lot of bad experiences about.

I have a friends hendo this weekend, but its just a house party am really looking forward to it.

Going to a spa in the day, then home to get changed ect, then to a local wine bar where we have a private room. The wine bar has a huge back room that is a nightclub on the weekends. I haven't been on a night out dancing in a looong time, more of a pub sorta girl so should make a nice change.

Yes I had mine at the beginning of the month, it was great but sad its over and I dont have it to look forward to anymore.

What did you do ? my H2B goes on his stag weekend to the isle of white festival on the 7.9.12 so for 2 weeks before wedding we will be rushing around trying to get things done during the week after work as we wont be spending time together at the weekends.
Just read your earlier post about your wedding card post box, I will be doing the same soon just brought a wooden wishing well of the bay for £30 thought it was a good idea as they cost £25 to higher from where i am from which is Chelmsford (what area are you from?) then after the wedding i will sell it on hopefully.

I just bought a card one - I hadnt really thought about getting one til last week
We went to Centre Parcs in nottingham, had a lovely time, weather was just about ok.. We did a few activities and had a night in on the first night and a meal on the second night. Lots of fun

We're going out in Edinburgh, food then drinks... simple but just what I want! Really looking forward to it. A spa day would have been lovely but I was the same as you, I didnt want to ask people to shell out twice for me in the same month x
