RSVP's are the absolute bane of my life! I'm sick talking about them, chasing them, waiting for them to arrive... AND there were little return cards in my invites with a stamp on the envelope for them already so that they didnt have to go and buy one! Honestly!
Anyhow on another issue - Ive eaten like a pig for 2 days, dress fitting is in 2 weeks... I'm petrified! Help! x

I'm feeling a bit bummed out today. work is terrrible i'm being treated like i don't exist by a senior member of the board, everything i say he completely ignores so i've decided to ignore him (juvinile i know) but it has to be done i will respond to him when he addresses me directly but other than that i'm just going to work in my own bubble.
My mum is doing my head in being all whoah is me, does my head in! she just needs to stop moaning and get on with it, she has messed up her job not me she has had tonnes of sick days when she wasn't really sick and then wonders why they are saying that the terms of her new job were that she was going to improve her sickness to keep it. I give up!
she also moans at me that i might not come to a BBQ on saturday because we might be going camping with OH's uncle and then moans saying we are only allowed to go camping with them (she wasn't messing around) i was gobsmacked and just said i'll do what i want when i want (sounds a bit spoilt but she'll never learn that she can't control me anymore if i dont)
super fed up :-(

You'll be ok Jill. Still time to be good! I've lost my appetite a bit now it's getting closer, nerves are getting to me. Scales said I weigh same as fitting day. And it was at the end of the day fully clothed. Which is good cos I fancy a pizza this weekend.
I feel a bit better today. I am keeping to my herbal rescue remedy to calm me down. I've always suffered with anxiety but I think I'm really going to struggle the next 3 weeks. People keep pushing me. I don't feel excited at all, just worried.
Oooh exciting about honeymoon kit Nic! I cannot wait to go away!
I'm counting down the days to the honeymoon not the wedding at the moment, i'm just so down in the dumps :-(

HI everyone Nic what a lovely touch to have honeymoon details all in leather so you can keep them as a momento.I bet your well excited to try on your dress again !! Jill dont worry do as Mrs Mann 2b suggest and eat sensibly and it will all be fine. I know what you mean about RSVP my guest only have to log into a website to RSVP and choose there menuand still that's to difficult for some of them. Smarties thank you,i hope so too.anyway not a lot i can do about it now LOL and pizza sounds like a good idea and can you pass a tub of herbal rescue my way i think i need it . Mrs Mann 2b dont be down try and stay positive and i dont think its juvinile to respond to your boss the way you are, i would do the same. its all added stress that you dont need and well done for telling your mum how it is !!
My bridesmaid dress have arrived and they are beautiful only problem is that i must of messed up the measurements as they are all way to big took them down to stich in time and they wanted to quote me £50 per dress to alter them. that would be a no from me and now on a mad rush to find some one to alter them, worried that one of the dresses need to be taken in quite a bit and i dont know if this will be possible :-( I cant send them back as my friend david used his wedding connections and got me the dresses from the designer at cost price needless to say the £50 per dress alteration is only a tad less then what i paid for each of them.
Sometimes i wonder why we didn't just go abroad and get married, but i suppose everyone goes through this right ?

Evening ladies, can I start planning from the beginning again? I had my fitting and it's just not right, it's going to look rubbish, where it's taken I the material just isn't sitting properly and the bust is out of shape. She's going to see if she can sort it but I think I'm just the wrong shape for the dress :( Plus you can definitely see my hips - it looked nothing less than awful

No I was on my own, going back next sat with moh She said she won't be able to get all the ripples out so I guess I just have to accept its not going to be perfect :( I wonder if I never should have bought it as I think it's just the wrong shape for me but they tell you they can do anything just to get the sale

I rang the registrar yesterday. I asked h2b to chase them early last week as they were supposed to ring us on 1st Aug but obviously he didn't. Turns out they have been waiting for us to contact them (even though I am 100% sure they said they would ring us) and had only one slot left for a pre-wedding meeting. Not sure whether they would have called us, or what would have happened if there was no free spot but least it's sorted now! Having to use my last day of leave to go to town for the appt but hey ho.

Hiya! Yes busy busy!
Went to venue, I love it so much, they're so friendly and relaxed and helpful. Sorted out few bits. Was exciting telling her all the decor etc we have sorted. Reminded me of what i've planned really. Also from her notes we're £3 in credit haha.
Paid off the suits. I just popped in to check when they needed paying (h2b had said it's on collection but I wanted to double check). 1st August. Trust h2b with one job.... so paid that then.
Bought the trees for the parents. Though annoyingly mil was nosing around our garden on Sunday and found them. I was so annoyed but hey ho. Just told her to pretend she hadn't seen them and she didn't mention them again. H2b was upset though cos it's ruined a surprise now. Well she doesn't know what they're for but I'd have thought it was obvious. Never mind.
Just got the printing team in work to print me some bunting with my buttons on so gonna do that this weekend for on my sweet buffet table :-)

not a right lot, our action figures turned up so i need to work out where i'm putting them in the centrepieces but i can play with them one night this week and decide where i want them, other than that i'm just waiting for my fascinator to come through.
I've packed my suitcase for the honeymoon (so i don't wear or ruin any of the clothes i have bought) and i've got 14 t shirts I'm only going for a week lol never mind i'll find something. I need to get my black linen trousers in there but i think i'll wear them or my white ones on the place, its all go go go hahaha

hey ladies can i join? i will introduce myself im susan, im 21, ive been with my partner for 5 and a half years and we have a 4 year old son. we have been planning our wedding for almost 2 years now and we are getting married on the 29th september :) cant wait! have got everything sorted just got to buy presents for my wedding party now and getting my favours a week before as we are doing lottery tickets oh and make my table plan out already planned it on on the fantastic table plan tool on here! going to see my florist tonite to go through everything and going to my venue next week to confirm numbers and sort out all the final details, went to church yestarday to here our banns and have another meeting with the vicar next week aswel then of at a bridesmaid dress fitting the same day then day after im going for my dress fitting so busy busy busy dont no what im going to do with myself once this wedding is over x

Hi Susan1990 wow it seems like you have everything under control my date is the week before and i am no where near as organised as you LOL
I went on my sisters hen do at the weekend it was the first of her 2 hen nights. we went on a local pub crawl ended up in a night club got to bed at about 1.30am. got quite drunk and actually still ache from all the dance moves i was pulling and quite happy that mine is going to be a spa day !! the next day i had to get up and leave her house at 8.45am to get to the church for 10.30am to here our banns read out. We are going to the V festival this wekend for her second hen do and once again i will have to go to the church when not feeling my best.
H2B went to pick up his Wed ring at the weekend and it had to be sent back as to small !! I have found Seemstress this weekend who is charging a more realstic price for alterations on the bridesmaid dresses between £10 -£20 per dress. so all looking good x

It was such a relife when i went there on satuday with my daughter and she said £10 for the flowergirl dresses and up to £20 for the others. Blooming stich in time making me feel it was such a difficult job to do and expensive gone from almost £300 to under £100 just goes to show how much place's put there prices up when its for a wedding!! Are you at work today Mrs Mann 2B ? if you are is it a better feeling there today ?

Had a text today, another of my friends has been dumped so her boyf now not coming to the wedding. Aww, but grrr. So we've asked the bm to ask his gf to come instead. We weren't going to as she won't know anybody (we haven't met her) and I didn't want her distracting the best man so she was just going to come int he evening. But better having her than an empty seat that we have to pay for.

This will make me feel better but sorry for a boring list.
1. Get a key cut for the neighbours - 5 min job when shopping! 2. Decorate postbox - i.e. stick bit of ribbon and the sign on it 3. Make buttons for cake - prob 4 hours max 4. Make sweet trees - cover balls in foil and stick sweets on x 3 5. Pay florist - Sat 6. Pay photographer - coming on Thurs for an hour to chat 7. Pick readings - tonight 8. Pick vows - tonight 9. See Registrar - next wed 10. Print table plan - brother doing 11. Print extra place cards for newbies - brother doing 12. Pay cattery deposit 13. Book nail appointment 14. Get rings polished - they'll do it in store in 2 hours max 15. Practice first dance - i.e. make up a way of shuffling for 3 mins 16. Take dress to be steamed - obv can't do this til week of wedding but it's round corner from mil's where the dress is. 17. Make confetti cones - Got the paper but want to leave til nearer the time 18. Put music on cd for venue 19. Collect photos for slideshow
I am off work from 24th so I am deliberately leaving postbox, sweet trees, confetti, dress and rings til then. This week I aim to do 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 12, 13, 18 :-D

If your in pain then i would say go home now and rest even better go to doctors and get signed of for a couple weeks think of all that time you could spend on your wedding and it will give your back time to rest so your at your best on wedding day. haaa also think of the extra work your horrid boss would have to do LOL x
