I have brought 3 flower girl shoes today only 2 more junior bridesmaid to buy for. Still looking at Rings. H2B has gone out so i am now sitting down with my wedding shoes on, I'm thinking that i will need to do this more often as they feel tight on my feet. Have you all broken in your shoes and if so how long did you wear them for ? I have so much to do that i dont even want to start a list because it will worry me even more H2B is so relaxed about it all just tells me if we have plenty of time. and the problem is his the design and computer knowledgeable one in the relationship and we have designed our own order of service that all need to be printed out whole punched and tied with ribbon, all our menus and table names and place names need to be done and i'm still waiting on him to print out the last 12 evening invites.

I thought my shoes were ok till I had my first fitting, really tight!! Only worn them once or twice so will have to wear them more... I was told that putting shoes in the airing cupboard would help soften the up.

Nisquared love your niece's dress are you having cadbury purple colour theme ? How annoying for people to pull out. do you have a short list to move people to day guests from evening so at least your not paying for nothing ? Also great idea big socks in w shoes i'm gonna try that next !!

Update on wedding rings. I have ordered to wedding rings to try on from the net hopefully should be here in 2 - 3 week one of them looks likes the ring that was £690 in the shop but it is only £213 fingers crossed that it will work with my E ring when they arrive if not H2B has agreed to le me have the expensive one as time will e running out x

Kilts yeah and it was an absolute nightmare Nic. Wee manny went into complete meltdown, took a flakey, kept telling me the outfit was rubbish... I was sweating like a pig by the end of it so not sure how I'll work it on the wedding day when I've just had my hair and makeup done! He was fine once it was on but getting the kilt on was ridiculous! The saving grace was a box of trucks they had at the shop, he posed for a few pics (still scowling) because he thought I was taking a pic of the truck lol

Aww lovely - is he close to his nan? I have been told as we may have a prob getting my niece in her dress, that if its a struggle sometimes it can help sending him off with someone else (eg nan) as they are less likely to play up with them My niece is awful with her mum but fine with nanny

He has a jacket and a wee sporran too but I didnt want to push it too far with the sporran, I was just happy to get the kilt on. I'm hoping that, as his wee friend is my flowergirl and will be there, he'll behave better. He's a happy wee soul when she's about and goes with the flow. My mum would pander to his tantrum. I pick the kilt up a couple of days before though so will practice it :) he seems to do as he's told when my brothers are speaking to him too so hopefully when he sees them and my dad in their kilts he'll be happy to get his on too x

I'm getting there, been taking pics of myself in a pair of shorts I bought for honeymoon but were too small. They're not perfect fit YET but doing up fine so inches are on their way down. My fitting is on 25th then another on 8th Sept, I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing just now. I cant possibly stay the same when I'm eating healthily and doing 8 classes a week x

I've been doing 2 classes on Sunday, Tuesday and Friday, then 1 class on a Monday and Thursday. You look great in your dress missus, you dont need to lose anymore! I think I'll find it a bit hard after the final fitting... I'm never a steady weight, always gaining or losing so that will be a challenge x

I am on that - i think i need to ease my calories up gradually, they suggest i should have 2000kcal a day to maintain which seems a lot

Nicsquared love purple thats my colour theme too !!, I know what you mean though about trying to match the right shades i thought cadbury purple was easy one to get as everyone knows what shade that is but no there is still loads of shades to cadburys purple.
Jill love the little kilt and i'm sure as soon as he sees everyone ells dressed up he will to !!
Reading some of the post about weight loss and getting into shape has started making me think do I need to do this to ? then i think nope thats a lot of work, And i admire the fact that you are all doing so well and putting in so much time to get the weight that you want. I know its got to be hard to say no to the extra cake ect ( coz i never can ). I 'm lucky i have never been on a diet or have had to go to the gym. no matter what i eat or how much i eat of it i stay around the 8 & 1/2 stone mark and size 8 / 10 dress size . so well done to all you lovely ladies trying so hard to get the figure you want.
