Ah florist is a sweetie. She said to be 'you don't need this stress a week before the wedding, what are they doing to you luvvie?' aww. She said they can have carnations a quid each and I just need to let her know on Sat. Think that's easiest option. I'd rather they didn't have them but they're insistent apparently. It's tradition and even my mum agrees with them that it's the norm in Wales.
We're not in Wales.......

It's sorted but, I texted my bm to ask what time she'd be arriving in Liverpool and she said 2pm. But I'd booked nails for 2pm. And I tried but couldn't change appt. So i was stressing because I don't want to go elsewhere. And her response was 'thought nails were booked for sat sorry'. Haha Sat!?
Then I got upset because I thought she'd have come up sooner. And she said 'Do you want me in the afternoon or just the evening?' as she's travelling up with her mum and dad who are coming to the evening do. And I want her with me all day. I will need her laid back calming influence and I want to be girly and chill etc! I had a massive rant in my office about how she's my bm and should be wanting to help etc and cried. Total bridezilla moment. I blame the earlier stress of my family for such an out of character reaction ;-)
Got myself all worked up then found a text from her saying. 'Not a prob to get an earlier train. We'll arrive at 12 and i'll come straight to yours and stay with you from then on. Give me jobs, tasks, anything, I'm there to help etc etc' just generally a lovely text.
Typical me overreacting. Least it's all worked out :-)

I think i have found the way to stay calm for a few more weeks denial its great LOL I have been telling myself no need to panic until after my sisters wedding and then i still have a whole month to go. watch me fall to pieces in the next couple of weeks. sister gets married tomorrow !!

11 days. Tomorrow I can count them on my fingers :-D I am honestly really excited I can't wait. But I'm just anxious too. I've just had a bad day today. And to top it all off I have to pack up my desk by Friday because next week when I'm off, we're being moved to a new office. Ugh.

lol thanks mrs mann going to be singing that song all day now lol! of hat shopping today with the mother :/ we went last week and spent 3 hours in one hat shop and came out empty handed my god it was boring cant say im looking forward to doing it all over again hope she finds one she likes soon lol. of to my venue tomorow to go through final details and im still chasing up 2 of my guests as to wether they are comming or not grrr my mum said to just cross them off but its my h2bs nan and auntie! could just imagine crossing them off and then them turning up, they were supposed to reply by end of july :/ x

my mum is hiring a hat from a local place as she has had 5 or 6 hats already and she likes them to start with and then changes her mind so thankfully they have 5 or 6 hats for her to choose from at the shop and she has been told to go 3 days before to pick one and thats the one that she takes away with her

i've been doing my set up manual for the hotel this morning hahaha its about 20 pages long so far. i think i'm going to have to ask them if i can set up the top table and cake and guest table up myself along with the staircase and tables upstairs and chair covers! i think i have problems lol!

Morning all. Single figures today!
Sorted stuff with registrar, dyed my hair, made my chocolate buttons, got our pre ceremony and breakfast background music sorted and printed table plan yesterday.

Yeh that's what I thought. Though it's gone too dark yet again so will have to wash it a few more times than usual in the next week to get some of the colour out (I always do semi permanent).

morning ladies! mother still hasnt got a hat, shes thinking about hiring one now after i mentioned it to her- thanks mrs mann! she is getting her outfit made and only went to be measured yestarday so god knows when it will be ready but wheni it is were going to go look at hat hire :/ lol. going to crack on with my cake today then got my meeting at the venue tonight still havent heard anything from h2bs nan sending him round this morning before he goes to work to get an answer out of her. got my weigh in at weight watchers aswel tonite...fingers crossed ive lost some more weight :) dress fitting on saturday so wont be able to loose much more after its been altered dont want to have to alter it again lol x

They have changed the colour of the cravat slightly so want us to go in early as they will honor the old colour if necessary I think the new colour is actually going to be a better match - fingers crossed

Thanks! hope there alright nic! we ordered our cravats from the same place we are getting the bridesmaid dresses so they are an exact match. the place we are hiring the suits from didnt have any colour at least a tiny but similar to ours :( if we had gone to the place i wanted to hire the suits from would have been able to and would have got the waist coats i wanted aswel but because h2b parents have paid for them we had to go were they wanted. never mind. x

Yeah actually that's my biggest job. My mum and I will do that on Tuesday otherwise she and my dad will struggle to get to the bed in the spare room!
