I'm feeling better too. Must be in the air today. Please keep me happy, my stress has caused a skin breakout argh!

Doing my postbox tonight. Struggling to put the lid together doh!

Packing things into boxes too. Stuff is all over the place! Every cupboard I open I find something wedding related,

Good luck tomorrow Nic. Sure it'll look amazing :-)

Evening girls! I'm excited for you all - who will I chat to for my 28 remaining days after your weddings? I found out tonight a good friend and his wife cant make our wedding now :( bit downhearted about it BUT the main thing is that h2b is there and obviously the priest... the rest are just a bonus! x

Aww no :( my mum has a fan attached at an angle to her wall as you walk out of her kitchen and every other time I'm there I find myself walking into it. Thankfully normally walking backwards talking and I get clunked on the head but it would be completely possible for me to do it the other way and end up with a big lump on my nose or forehead for the wedding lol aww nic it's getting so close now! x

Oh no Nic :-( is your nose scar big?
I am super clumsy at the moment. I am covered in bruises, got some huge ones on my legs! Then tonight I bashed my elbow, scraped my forearm and got a paper cut about an inch long all while doing my postbox. Crazy! Hope they all go soon and hopefully I can avoid getting any more.

Rubbish about the rsvps Jill :-( Agree with Nic it's other people that are stressing me out!
Ooh and I'll be back in time for your run up Jill!

Hey Smarties, I'm glad :) so excited for all you 1st Sept brides too though!

Nic I'm sure makeup will sort it hun, dont stress about it.

It's my parents anniversary today so I'm going to have a day free from talking about my wedding. Taking my wee manny for a haircut which wont be fun, tried to blackmail him with getting a 'surprise present' after if he's a good boy but already he's saying he doesnt like it everytime I mention the haircut part lol

We got our bridal party gifts through yesterday, personalised crystal glasses. They're nice - subtle. Didnt want them to be garish. also got the favours through for our kiddies - princess fun packs for the girls and pirate packs for the boys. Lots in them too so hopeufully they'll stay entertained x

I have done no wedding bits at all this weekend and don't think i can motivate myself to do it this evening. I am aching all over went to the V festival in chelmsford this weekend as the second hen do for my sister who is getting married on wednesday. and now i know i need to join a gym or do some sort of weekly activity when faith starts school in september. at 34 i shouldn't ache this bad after a day of dancing and walking LOL

Well I ordered it on friday..... So no clue when it will be arriving! Nothing like leaving it to the last min. But it is dress number 5, (I have a thread on here explaining about my dress dramas) But the woman said it only takes about a week to make, and should only be a week after that for postage etc So hopefully within the next 3 weeks. Don't think my stress levels will handle it, if it takes much longer than that. But she promised a rush order. *fingers crossed*

Well i'm keeping optimistic, and i've got a dress maker on call should I need it adjusting once it arrives, I've explained the situation to her, but shes a family friend so is happy to help at short notice! Luckily. And with it being a maternity dress, only really need to fit around the bust, as its very loose fitting from there down :)
But i'm keeping dress number 4 until after the wedding as back up. Was going to put it on the bay, but decided not to risk it until the other one arrives. Or I may end up wearing my PJs down the aisle lol

Have finally worked out where two of my permanent bruises are from. Exact same height as our coffee table, one on each leg! How have I not noticed that I've bumped into it so many times?!

Glad your injury will be hidden Nic!

Had busy day. Made my buttons. Will post pic from comp in work tomorrow. Took 5 hours!

morning ladies!!! your dress is stunning Nic :-) its absolutely perfect!!!

i'm so tired this morning went walking at the east coast went to runswick bay which was down an almost vertical hill and then had to walk back up (thank god for a pub at the top) and then we went to whitby which was ridiculously busy as they had a regatta on and some old bloke had the cheek to kick on of our dogs out of the way!!! my OH went over to him and demanded an apology and the man had the cheek to say you should keep them on a shorter lead!!! couldn't believe it with it being busy they were on the shortest lead possibly without strangling them!!!! fuming!!!!!!! she's an old dog as well and was struggling along as she has arthritus in her shoulders poor thing and then someone kicks her was not impressed.

got a lovely suprise from OH's auntie we went camping a while ago with her and some other family and we saw some amazing bride and groom wire hearts with birds and things on, only small but looked amazing and she sneakily sent another family member to go get them after we had dropped her off home as we wouldn't except petrol money! bless her i loved them so much when i saw them i've just got to try and find somewhere to put them in the venue decorations now!

Smarties i think you need to wrap yourself in bubble wrap for the next 12 days! lol

I hope your dress turns up and is perfect Mrs C!

Brill I have four boxes of 16 too.

I have had a major stress this morning/last night re button holes.
My aunt, uncle and cousins want button holes. I said to my mum that I am not providing for everyone, just immediate family. Which she knows. However she is insisting if they want them they can pay for them themselves but I'd have to order them. So my argument was if they are wearing them, what about my other aunts and uncles and cousins. It'll look like I've provided for some but not others.....

So I have to ask my florist can she do an extra 15 button holes for next Sat and if she can I have to ring my mum who will ring around and find out who wants them.

I could say provide your own, but I would want them to match.

Ugh I don't need all this!

some of OH's family have text him asking where we are getting our flowers as they wanted to order additional buttonholes for themselves. if i was having fresh flowers i would just let them have the name of the florist and they can order and collect them themselves but as i've made all mine i've just made some extra ones for those who want them

Hmmm, my family are not local though, I'm in Liverpool, they're in Cardiff so I'll have to get involved grr.

I just think it's rude to decide you want to wear a buttonhole even if I haven't ordered one for you. H2b is annoyed :-s he says if we wanted them to wear one we'd have ordered them one so I should just say no. But my mum says I can't stop people wearing one so they may as well come to me rather than sort themselves and them not match etc etc

My mum has now suggested she and my brother's gf make some the night before - she'd make for all the family - 13 extras. She says she's done them before so she'd be able to, but it's the principle. Why should she!? If they want them they should pay for them. She'll have enough on the day before. Grrrrrrrrr! I just don't know what to say.
