Hi all, I'm very excited to announce that we have just booked my dream venue - Priston Mill near Bath for 03/07/16, Somerset. I'm curious to know if any past/future brides that are having this venue recommendations for local accommodation? I am desperately searching somewhere to stay the night before with my bridesmaids/mum and then also somewhere to stay as first night as Mr and Mrss?? Was trying to look for a self catering cottage nearby or even a nice hotel. Any ideas or recommendations if anyone has been to a Priston Mill wedding would be much appreciated

Also - I am getting married in the Tythe Barn but am aware of the Watermill venue just opposite. I'm so scared that if someone has their wedding the same day as me we will be able to see/hear their guests/music. Anyone been to a Priston Mill wedding and had this problem?

It definitely has just started to feel real! How long have you had your venue booked for? All family members are saying it's too far away however I think with all this planning it will come around in no time and I need longer!! So are you staying at your venue in bath, or staying in a hotel?

We've had it booked for about 3/4 months now. It will definitely come around quickly!! I think it's nice having a longer period to spread the costs and the stress though. I would ideally like to stay at my venue the night before but it depends if someone else has exclusive use the day before. I won't know for sure until 4 months before my date. If I can't stay at the venue I will be staying at another local hotel with my mum and my bridesmaids but not looked into it in great detail at the mo. I had a brief G00gling sesh and there seem to be plenty that are close enough. Our venue is closer to Melksham than Bath though I think - it has a SN12 postcode x

Hay, my best friend got married in the Mill at Priston Mill three years ago. Both the Mill and Barn are lovely venues. There was another wedding there and we didn't see the other guests or hear them later in the evening so think you will be ok.

Not sure about accommodation but I'm pretty sure if you go on their website it has recommended venues and suppliers.
