Nearly 2k?! WHAAAAAAT!!! I nearly had a heart attack paying just over 1k yesterday (we took out insurance too :-/) If you've seen a simular one elsewhere for a quarter of the price then I don't blame you! Hahaha love it, my h2b's the same!

Flowers are an on-going thing as my friend is a florist so i've found the cheapest silk flowers I can and she's going to the warehouse she uses next week to see if it's cheaper, if not then we'll be taking a trip up to Bristol to get the flowers and then they'll be done!

I don't know what I'm doing about my make-up yet, i'm tempted to just do it myself or get my sister to do it for me. Hair is another dilemma as i'd like my regular hair dresser to do it, however she's mobile and I don't want all the hassle of her in my house etc and as we're getting married at 10:30am I think it would be hard going for her to do everyones hair in time. So I don't know :-/ I'm tempted to start buying stuff for stationary but I'm not 100% on that yet either! Haha! So indecisive x

Ah well done, sounds like we're in about the same position at the moment! We've got all those things done and am awaiting one more quote for the cake before we decide who we're going with and my flower saga is above ^^ lol! My hairdresser is from a boutique hairdressers,she is doing mine,4adult bridesmaids and 3flower girls for £120... Wedding at one, she's starting on them at 7.30am, as the photographer is coming to mine at 9.30 so she needs to be on mine by that time x

hoe far in advance do you need to book things like hair dressers and make up? ive not given it much thought but im keen to get things picked and deposits down on the bigger things like photographer and photobooth as soon as possible. Is hair and makeup somethign i need to bother with yet or am i safe to leave that for now?

I already have my make-up sorted (my mum's friend who is a make-up artist is doing it for me free of charge) and I will sort my hair out in the summer I think but shouldn't be a problem as my hairdresser has done my hair since I had any! lol and she now works from home so I'm sure she will be able to do it for me! Maybe just have a word with your hairdresser next time you go Velcro and see what she/he says xxx

my niece has volunteered to be hair dresser on the day so starting to play soon, and looking at possible extensions (not sure if they will look right on me). not decided whether to go darker of lighter on the day either, just had purple put on last week and I'm liking the dark tones, I think I will get professional advise on that before the big day

I have a tattoo at the bottom of my back and one on my hand, not gonna worry me I don't think x

I've got 7 tattoos but one of them you won't be able to see but I have paw prints on my b00bs , so wondering whether to get them covered? Apparently Kot Von D's tattoo cover up is awesome.

i got another veil now just needs a little TLC and some new bling to replace whats fallen off but cost less than 9 quid off the bay and its stunning really pleased i risked it and it gives me something to do :)

im gonig to start playing with making my stationary soon and then talk flowers and a dj as i havent got alot else left to book. just need to shift anothger half stone and i think i will be very happy

im only covering some of mine up to please my mum .....she is paying for the dress (which is costing more than she budgetted for) so need to be a good little daughter dont i :-)

i got quite a few that are constantly on show but only covering up the ones on my shoulders.....got one on my arm and one on hand that wont be covered....and feet and bottom of back wont be on show anyway .

Hello 2014 brides!!

We are getting married on the 30th May 2014!!! So excited but it does feel like an age away! So far we have booked and paid deposits for the venue, photographer, videographer and the florist! We are looking at a total cost of £25,000 (hence the long wait as we need to save to pay for it all) Dress shopping starts in April and I cannot wait!!

Our theme is white with a touch of champagne, my maids will be in champagne dresses, the guys in sharp fitted navy suits and White flowers galore! I've chosen White roses, White peonies and White orchids for the flowers.

Would love to hear some other brides ideas, especially if they don't involve vintage, shabby chic or country theme...seem to see nothing else at the moment!

Lol yeah I guess I have it all worked out, we have been together 7 years so I would be lying if I said I didn't have a good idea what I would have if my Mr popped the question!
