This is completely none wedding related but I've recently moved to Whitefield with H2B and would really love to make some new friends here, but it's easier said than done!
Just thought I'd tell everyone on here about myself and see if anyone wants to meet up and maybe become good friends?!
I'm 29 and 29 again in August this year, I'm a farmers daughter from North Yorkshire and I moved to Manchester to be with H2B (good move!) and we are getting married next June, babys are on the agenda as soon as possible after the wedding.
I'm not a girly girl, but I would like to learn how to be a bit more girly, a new friend who would like to teach me would be fantastic! I love F1 and watch every race (yes even if they are on at 2am), I can put up with football and H2B is a Utd fan.
I watch all the soaps and don't mind a bit of reality TV either, since we recently moved house we've currently doing lots of gardening and decorating. We're just got a cat too which has made our house a home :)
We like eating out and having friends round to ours for drinks/meals too, we do go out but it's more to the cinema or theatre now rather than clubs. Although we both still love music and I have an eclectic collection which runs from Oasis to Britney to Groove Armada.
I'm not the loudest person in the world, which is probably another reason why I find it hard to make new friends, but give me a chance! It would be great to find some new friends in Whitefield or the surrounding area so we can just pop round to each others houses for brews and a gossip fairly easily - wedding chat now and baby chat soon!?

I live in Bolton and funnily enough am called Zoe too! You're welcome to pop round for a cuppa if you like as i'm more than happy to chat weddings. We're getting married in May next year and I'd like to think babies would magically appear for us after that! (Well you never know). Thanks Jennebel, we are settling in nicely now. Just got a cat the other week so it feels like we've got our own little family now too (sad I know but no kids until after the wedding).
All meeting for coffee (or something stronger) sounds like an excellent plan Abbey! Can I suggest The Whiteroom in whitefield? cheeky I know as it's walking distance for me but it's right by whitefield tram stop too?

I moved to whitefield about 18 months ago zoe so I know how you feel. I am originally from Stockport so I felt like a fish out of water. Its getting better, I met a few people at school which we do things together with. I think if it wasn't for the kids I would still be pretty much alone lol. I live on stanley road near the fitness first gym. I have heard of that road lol can image what its like saying after a few.
Whiteroom is lovely and so is slatterys. This is my last week before my exam so I am going to have to do alot of revision then its back to uni the week after. I will need to see if I can get a sitter too lol

Sunday works for me too, although I may be back on the soft drinks by then as I may have a few beverages on saturday night with some girlies I haven't seen in ages. x
