Hi Vicandsimon I'm from south shields but work newcastle city centre and we're getting married at Matfen Hall in Northumberland. Would any of you ladies be able to advise me on a florist at all? I've been for a few quotes and know I'm not expecting them to be pretty due to how much I want and the style of matfen needs the flowers to match but the first quote had the cheapest option come out at £850 and I stopped adding up the other option when it got into the £900s. I went to see another two yesterday and had a great feeling about the first but still waiting for an email with a quote and the other only quoted for the boquets, buttonholes and centre pieces for the table and the quote was £400 but wasn't feeling confident with that one. Does anyone have one they could reccomend in the North East? xx

I've got the quote and really glad that she has itemised everything as if we had everything I wanted it wouldn't give me much change from £1000 (starting to realise I have really expensive taste). Jut sat down with H2B to talk about it and going to remove a couple of things and it'll be around £650. When we had our consultation she showed us other options that didn't involve flowers for certain things as well like the windowsills and fireplaces so that if the budget didn't stretch we could prioritise. Just need to pay the deposit now. Glad it's sorted as it was one of the last things I needed to arrange... except the dress but i have that organised for next month x

We're having the wreath with the 3 wick candles as well for the centre pieces, the pictures she showed us look fab and then I can let people take them home after if they would like to. Paid the deposit now so it's all booked x
